If you have an iron stomach, the story is nice to follow. Can’t say I understand the story whole with the translation, bc some chapters are done terribly. It is like the editor suddenly became lazy or soemthing.
The story is stupid. I don't know why the other reviews don't say it out for new comers but basically, the story is about a girl that develops Stockholm syndrome towards the arrogant man who humiliates, berates, degrades and violates her repeatedly. The author uses "oh but they have chemistry and he will later on become a better man" as an excuse to bring the two of them together. I like that she is a strong woman who stands strong and is logical despite her situation and all that he has done to her, but that doesn't make it okay to create a romance out of this mess. How does the author have the heart to call this "romantic comedy" just because of their witty banter when she has repeatedly shown fear of being raped or humiliated by him. No matter how many times the female lead is shown to be strong, she is still obviously trapped and is afraid even though the author likes only talk very little about her trauma as if trying to make people forget that she is traumatized by all that has happened to her.
Started off great. Cute story lots of twists not a lot of drag in the plot. But, starting a little before chapter 200 the translation took a turn. Some chapter content repeats. The order does not make sense in some areas it seems that section of information was left out. Then the plot took a weird twist I finally gave up at chapter 227. Good luck to the next reader I hope you make it to the end.
I love th book, the comic, and the animated series I read and watch over and over again.
I love this story. The characters feel real, there is so much going on it draws you in and it is hard to put down. Some of the chapters have rough translations, but it is worth continuing till the end.
uwaahh interesting, its updating after a long time hmmmm.. i remember loving this but one commenter summarized the raws and the ending doesnt seem good so i stopped... too bad coz i even cried in some chapters😅
Please please please update this story! I really love this story. I would go and read the manga version but i do not want to go through it all again.
genuine story, female lead is not dumb, and she has more of an infependant thought rather than always being a damsel in distress, I hate the ML.
I like the story its quite interesting and it is not boring. The female main character has a strong personally that matches the male lead which is good. But there are a lot of conflicts.
This story is very interesting to me its all about a girl falling in love with bandit who happens to be a crown prince and she getting to unviel the secret of what her step mom and sis did to her and also all the heir lords falling for her not knowing she is a girl and how she disguised into a male form
Deliciously enticing. Particularly for foodies - you will love this storyline! All the description on food is just so mouth watering. 😋😍😋 Yay! Our Female Lead is a fantastic talented chef. I didn't like the Male Lead in the beginning though, in the "bandit" environment, but he worju ed hard to redeem himself later on. The storyline develops nicely. Love it. 😄😁😆🤣

Right from the begining this book kept me entirely engaged with laughter. Love that both ML and FL are strong, yet rational people who know how to adjust with their circumstances.
I am currently reading the webcomic and it's a cute upbeat story that wants you to read more about her adventures. From the mischief within the family she married into to the mischief she has to deal with outside of the restaurant. Highly recommend and I've also watched the drama and while it's all in chinese it left me laughing

Um....I dunno, really, I'm kinda confused, did she like die and come to life or what? But I gotta admit, she has spunk, I'll give her that. It's the only reason why I still even read this book. No offense though.

It's heartbreaking for me to read because I find it so good and yet no further translations available for almost 2 years. I can't stand unknowing what happened next. Heartbreaking indeed!
The rape just doesn't seem to stop or get better. There's just so much wrong with the actual psychology of the characters. Other than the rape Survivor constantly jumping up to cook for her Tormentor. The lackluster background characters the only thing that keeps you around is food. And frankly there are other stories that involve food.

Please update the chapters, we want to know what is next. It has been over two years since tge last update. I love the story and the characters are cute.
This novel has a rare, believable heroine, plot progression, and support characters that aren't so flat compared to so many novels out there that are just interested in faceslapping and power fantasy plays. Even the main love interest is a well thought out character, not some walking plot contrivance that's just there when the heroine needs him for something. It is only held back by the translator's release scheduling. No other translation team has picked it up. And webnovel doesn't seem to be too interested in looking for replacements.
This novel has good story plot for me.. i first saw the anime adaptation and i'm really hooked with the story that i watched every episode and cont it here in the novel... Story is good. Keep up the good work..

Why did it stop updating chapters? And why did it skip chapters? That's unfair. I wish the author could continue to update chapters so that other readers and I can read the ending, and the missing chapters
First time I've ever read a novel like this, I am enjoying it until the translation goes bad. The translation quality starts dropping halfway in the novel. It's as if someone wrote this while they were drunk, why is no one talking about this? Like almost all of chapter 206 is literally so hard to understand. In previous chapters, the translation was poor for some sentences, but it got worst as I kept reading further. Charging money for this is straight up robbery.
