Okay. this is my second review. ( currently on chapter 70.) and I must say, I'm disappointed. no offense to the author or hate but this novel just feels like wasted potential to me. There are quite a few things that I don't understand or feel ruin the novel. the one thing i don't mind is his situation with the first female lead that he meets at the end of the first volume. Honestly, i don't have anything against her for the most part. Even the part of what she did to her parents as this is a demonic cultivation novel and she's a demonic saintess. In fact I like that detail as it makes sense for someone like her. But back to the point. the things that make this novel feel like a miss are: one- the protagonist's mentality. i get this is demonic cultivation novel with an actual villain as the mc. but seriously. even from that point his actions make zero sense. like his actions in the first market place he is in when the story starts. him just going ahead and wiping a whole market off just after his first major breakthrough despite knowing that doing so would have been being hunted by cultivors far beyond what he can handle. it honestly feels like a blatant plot devoice to make him encounter the first female lead. then his actions at the hall of the demon sect he wants to join. two- his whole personality. i understand his mindset went through a change in the start due to wi deviation. which was curbed by the system activation. but i honestly feel like it completely fired his brain. his actions like randomly murdering a girl who he had no issues with in the market is a prime example of this. after doing them, he seems to reflect on his actions but changes nothing later on. the most important reason for me saying this is that the event that changed his previously extremely cautious, hermit, extreme survivalist mindset was something he saw happen to others. so he should know of the advantages of the low-key, cautious path. and after gaining the system, he should have initially focused on a slow accumulation though mortals, who are only reluctantly protected by orthodox sects as mentioned later in the novel, in the parts where he's in the Joyous union sects territory, then after growing strong enough, he can move to areas with WEAKER cultivors where he can slaughter with less worry. and most importantly he shouldn't rush growing strong, instead focus on building a strong foundation at each realm so that he can handle stronger cultivors incase they come for him. this is what i see as a normal path so eone who understands the usefulness of a more cautious path would do with the system. instead the main character acts like arrogant hot-blooded, impulsive moron who looks down on the native cultivators of this realm. and somehow survives. it's like he knows he's an main character and has plot armour. thrid- I personally hate the long, winded explanations of his and others though processes. not that I don't appreciate them, in fact i like that this novel has them, but their usage.....it makes it feel like filler. no hate to the author or the novel. it's his and he can write it as they please. this is just my honest opinion. ( note- don't take the stars on this review seriously, I randomly filled them out).

very good story so far (50), but think the story can be slowed down a bit to fully explore the world your building, and introducing characters that aren't just 2 chapters later killed. The best thing you've done so far in the novel is NOT making everyone stupid and that should be a focus for you as you can leverage this fact to separate this story form most the slop on Webnovel. More arcs involving schemes for him to slaughter towns, cities, provenances, not just imma Kill these people for the points. Work the system into him achieving something more.
Whats up with this ungodly fascination of evil MC nowadays ? ML decides since his neighbor got bullied for being week, he will do anything to get stronger, including killing innocent mortal to get points. At that point, what is the difference between a human MC and a demon beast ?
Good novel so far, hopefully Mc stays cold hearted to his enemies early on and potentially adding aspects like early pregnancy with this harem so it won’t turn into a baseless harem without rivalry so they should compete for his 1st child that will add to the story and character development because what’s a good reason for character development yes it’s unexpected pregnancy and preparing to be a father witch has rarely happened in other novels that wait until epilogue for children(just a suggestion) Really hope u listen to this it could attract more viewers thanks!! it would be suitable to have children if author desired to add them since there’s romance and harem tags I would expect it
I like this novel very much as it's very my type, the mc does all what he needs to become stronger which I truly like as that is a world which people eat each others for profit and unlike the other novels that make it about friendship and how to become stronger with your friends along the way and how the important thing is your family and friends and bla bla bla, this novel actually makes it realistic to read. Many things that I didn't like earlier or felt it was childish from the mc and the author didn't write him well, after reading the Auxiliary chapter everything fitted together, so if you thought that the mc is childish and does things that even though it has no benefits and in fact very dumb to do that, just read the auxiliary chapter and you will understand the mc journey. The Auxiliary chapter is very important to know what to expect from this novel!!!! I won't proclaim that this novel is perfect but personally I truly liked it that the little problems I noticed didn't bother me a lot, though I could say that I would the mc would utilise his system more as I feel that he yet doesn't use it to its full potential, and the mc description isn't really good as I can't really visualise what he looks like, and the writing some times feel childish (it didn't happen much barely twice or thrice, and I didn't mean the mc I meant the writing in general) but this is just constructive criticism and I don't mean any offence. in any case I thank the author deeply and if I may be greedy to ask for more chapters than seven per week 😂😂

I read few chapters and i think only sophisticated reader like the readers of lotm,ss,etc would like this. others might also like this but I as a cliché novel reader (i think) can't read something like this. also might be because his thinking doesn't match mine. well it's a good novel or might be idk . as the top comment said it is a pure class grammar , I don't know how to describe but Iike reading simple and it was a mess. too much of mc's thoughts, too much of things from outside of the scene . overall i think it would have been better if sentences were simpler.

This dynamic keeps the narrative hyper-focused on the MC's power climb, which, frankly, is a huge win for keeping the pacing fast. For the ultimate progression junkie, this novel is a 4/5 star read. It’s not high literature, but it is a perfectly executed novel that fulfills its dark promise. Come for the relentless slaughter, and stay because the lack of emotional entanglement lets the MC just keep ascending.

I read a lot of your novels and I enjoy each and everyone of them. But after reading this one, I felt like me and you have similar ideas of what a villain is supposed to be or become in a novel. And I can’t wait to see more. Maybe I can gain some inspiration from reading more of this novel. To improve my own main/ endgame villain.
Dude, i just want to say that i love your novel, its really refreshing to see a mc go through a journey with people that have a functional brain, it was so tiring seeing the usual 'face slapping' and adults behaving like arrogant children. Though im really curious, is there none romance in this series? dont get me wrong this is fire so far and idm a harem thats just all mutual benefit, what im curious about is whatever they wont fall for him or not, because stockholm syndrome is a thing, which cai dong even tried doing
The story has a strong foundation and is engaging, but a few areas could be refined to make it feel more coherent and immersive. One noticeable issue is the emotional restraint of the main character. After 25 years of harsh survival, followed by a sudden power-up and nonstop events compressed into just three weeks of in-story time, he shows almost no signs of normal human desire or personal release. Even in a morally dark setting where he enslaves others and forces them into intercourse with each other, he never engages in sexual acts himself. The only mention of it is treating it purely as a means for pregnancy. This detachment makes him feel emotionally inconsistent, cruel yes, but strangely removed from natural human instincts because it is normal to display natural urges and moments of relaxation even if romance isn’t the focus. Introducing even small moments of natural emotional or sexual expression would help the protagonist feel more grounded and relatable, especially given the intense hardships and rapid growth he undergoes. The pacing of time is another area that feels off. By chapter 130, only a few weeks have passed despite a huge number of events. This compressed timeline makes the protagonist’s long lifespan seem less relevant. Slightly longer chapters or an increase in update pace is appreciated, and would enhance immersion, particularly since so much happens in such compressed timeline. Overall, The world and premise are great, I believe that giving the protagonist a bit more humanity in that area would add depth and believability to his character. I think the story has a lot of potential and I’m genuinely enjoying it.

After reading tons of villain and evil mc novels I can say this one is the best villain novel i have read till now. The mc is evil to the core, i think this mc is one of few who is closest to fang yuan. You should definitely give this a read and support the author so that he will keep writing. And author please don't drop this as it has the potential to become a masterpiece like RI.

In a sea of broken English and Pure AI generated slop, his writing is a cut above the rest. The prose are solid and I’ve yet to see a blatant grammar or spelling mistake. Updating Stability: [5/5] — Pretty solid so far. Although, a greedy part of me wishes for even more… Story Development: [5/5] — I’m liking where the story is going so far. Just enough tropes and moments that give the story that usual Xianxia/Cultivation feel, with enough twists and turns that give it a life of its own. Character Design: [5/5] — I’d probably give this a 6/5 if I could. The MC is clever and ruthless (a must have for any Cultivation MC), but he’s smart in a way that feels believable. He thinks things through, he’s methodical, and he’s self reflective. In just the chapters I’ve read, he’s already taken steps to improve himself, not just physically, but in terms of his mindset. Additionally, for fans of Evil Mc’s, this guy fits that mold pretty well. He manages to actually be evil, without being a anti-hero who’s tsundere, or devolving into pure edginess. Genuinely one of the more enjoyable Webnovel MC’s I’ve read. World Background: [5/5] — The story is set in a fairly typical Cultivation world with some twists. And while that aspect has yet to be explored thoroughly, I’m looking forward to see what Kotario does with the world.
