Kabanata 4: chapter 4
We see chuku's house in the morning and suddenly a door knock
"chukuuu chukuuu open the door I know you are in there chukuuuuuuu!"
"ok that is enough what if he is sleeping and you are just gonna wake him up we came here to help him not to annoy him Jake"
"sorry Nace but this guy won't open the door until I do this and I am sure he is not sleeping he never sleeps in this time of the day "
"well I am worried about him yesterday in our way to school he suddenly started saying some insane stuff like we died or something then he suddenly run away then got saved by hero lain from a truck but when we asked lain he said that it seemed like he was gonna let it hit him then he told us that chuku seemed very hollow and sad and now he closed himself in his house I know what I am gonna say might seem crazy but what if he wants to suis--!"
"yes that is crazy and is complete nonsense so don't say that again "
"but Jake all of the evidence point to that"
"well your evidence are wrong I know chuku very well and I know that he is not that weak I am sure he is just tired in fact I have an idea of what to do but I need your help. follow me"
"ohh what ! Ahh ok ?"
Both of nace and Jake has headed away of the house with the intention of coming back and now we enter chuku's house and it seems that he is in the middle of something
"well I guess I got everything I need from the shop as they say going to fix a problem you first need to understand and I can't go to school as I can't waste any time before I lose my sanity "
Despite him saying that he closed himself in his house to not waste time his terrified face and trembling hands says otherwise it seems that the way he dies when going out is more painful then daying on his home
"well then I gotta know what is happening anyway it seems like we day at least 1 time a day then we suddenly come back to the moment before our death not remembering what happened but the thing that killed us disappears and we finish our day as normal but it also seems like death could be triggerd in different ways like for example trying to get out of town or knowing the truth and trying to do something about it also ... going to my sister.... All of this stuff are so specific it can't be some random force or power and all of this can't be done by one person can it? Well what I know is that someone is behind this but ...well there is a thing I wanted to see "
Chuku pulls out many old calandres
"glad that the shop has let me buy these ... let's see ...just as I thought all of these are the same every calendar repeats itself a perfect weather for every day maybe if it was a week or a month I would have believed that but for a whole year I could never believe that it seems like our world is in a state of none progression nobody gets older nothing new happens no one dies and stays dead"

Chuku then has fallen on the couch putting his hands on his face
"how is someone like me supposed to figure this out oh god...no matter how I think of it even if I remember what happens I am powerless I can't make a difference...."
When chuku was in the middle of his monologue suddenly some big closet started to fall
"! Oh I have to..! Wait the couch I can't move "
It seems as if the couch has tied chuku in his seat maybe some glue left in there
"no I I know I will come but still it is painful especially this no No"
Out of disparation chuku tries to find a solution but the closet is already closed to hit him
"no !"
Out of instinct chuku uses yuki to manipulate air and it hit the closet it made it go back but just a little bit it seems like chuku has bought himself some additional seconds
"ahh I I used yuki just a little bit and ..and it did an effect but still just a little effect but still can can I use this power to save myself...well I have no choice"
And with that chuku has proceeded to use the simplest type of yuki to save his with his hitting the closet smany times until it finally shattered
"I..I I can't believe this I managed to live ...wait my body feels weak "
It seems like chuku used all of the yuki power in his body Wich caused him to be tired
"I am exhausted but I am alive this power I might be able to use it to change something maybe just maybe with this I have a chance well then let's go--?oh right the glue in the couche I have to remove that "
After some couch cleaning chuku is Infront of the door uncertain if he should get out but after using every bit of courage he has he is ready he opens the door and begins his search for solutions
"well even if I got out of my house I still don't know where to go... Wait lain mentioned that lazy town is a yuki gathering spot then I might need to look for some places with high yuki as it might hold a solution ...well I have no other choice "
And with that chuku begun exploring lazy trying to find any signs of yuki first in the garden
"oh where is it located there has to be some clue...wait why are they looking at me like that "
Chuku was wondering why people looked at him with confusing not relising that he is literally searching in buches of grass like a freak and would you look at that a tree is falling down on chuku
"what the why are so many stuff trying to crush me today "
Chuku then tried to use yuki on the tree
"take that!"
But sadly for chuku that is not a closet but a whole big tree you can't move it by some very weak air attacks
"wait no!"
And now chuku is getting cruched by the tree with his skull being broken and he dies
Then we see chuku in the park
" that was so painful I I guess I can't use yuki to save my life very well but maybe I need to improve it ...well I guess I am finished with the park "
Then chuku headed to every shop but never found anything well some scissor started flying at him
"ahh !"
He used yuki to move the scissor away from his direction by at least a few inches
"well I can at least move that but I still need to improve "
Then chuku entered the last shop the cafe shop and started searching everywhere from the seats to the mirrors to the core itself
"what are you doing?"
"ahh! Dina you scared me whet do you want "
"well you are the one that is searching in my coffee what do you hope to find some hair of a woman or something I might call the cops "
"what!(if that happens she might die of getting electrictuted) no please dina don't do that I beg you"
Dina was surprised by chuku's behavior
"hey relax I wasn't serious I was joking I mean you are acting like this is a life or death situation is everything alright "
"ahh yes everything is alright I I am just a Little bit streesed you know the usual and I am looking for something but can't seem to find it I just I I...i just -"
"whoa whoa relax "
"but I I need to find it fast I just need to I can't take this any longer I am sure you can understand what I mean"
"ahh chuku"
Dina then sit on a chair
"if you keep searching for that thing like this you will never find it and I you don't have to relax but you don't have to get very stressed I get what it means to true to look for something wanting to finish it fast but I realized that I need to relax and take a breath and everything will go smoothly either that or you will be so stressed that you won't see what you are looking for even if it's Infront of you"
"I... actually you are right In this state I won't be able to find what I am looking for I.. I need to calm down...that was actually when did you learn that "
"some philosophy classes not that special"
"well that was actually helpful thanks but now I need to go "
"oh yeah before you go can you put the coffee back in it's place "
"OH! Yeah I will do that "
After some cofe shop cleaning chuku got back to searching but this time he just a little bit more relaxed at least relaxed enough to focus on simple details
"I can't just be searching randomly I need to search smartly...infact do I even know how yuki gathering spots work anyway? Or to even sense them maybe I should ask lain...oh wait no that is a bad idea he might understand what I am talking about and dies ...oh wait the library I can go there "
Now chuku has entered the library
"well the only threat here is books I think I would be fine ahem excuse me do you know where can I find some yuki related books "
And now chuku is in front of the yuki power bookshelf
"well I guess that should get the work done wait that sound
A bookshelf behind chuku is bigining to falls on him
"not today"
Chuku uses his slightly enhanced yuki to move the book shelf but it seems like this gave chuku some understanding on how this weird power that tries to kill him works
"in the beginning the threat is weak but then it starts to increase. once I survive one it gives me a stronger way to kill me it seems like I can't always protect myself without daying. just how powerful is this power "
After getting this new information chuku has started reading and reading and reading while trying to stop anything that tryes to kill him
"I have stayed here reading books for a full 3 hours and it is true I did learn some stuff about yuki but did I learn anything that can help me NOT AT ALL was all of this useless ...but still something feels off like I am messing something... Could it be yuki well I at least learned 1 thing from these books to sense yuki "
And with that chuku is using his newly found knowledge
"I feel something something that is close something...! Something in this library that is in"
Chuku then looks to his right
"there!"
Chuku then looks at the books with caution
"could it be in the books ...NO something behind the books it is and if I found it with yuki maybe I can unlock it with yuki I just need to use some"
Chuku is using his yuki power focusing on opening this thing and it seems to work as a secret passage has opened
"nailed it but I shouldn't celebrate now "
Chuku is now entering a weird tunnel underground place until he enters a room
"this is weird I thought something will attack but nothing is here "
In Wich he regrets saying that asap rat suddenly appears infront of him withthe intention of malice
"oh a rat well that brings bad memories"
As the rat instanly jumps towards chuku trying to attack him
"!well I won't get my lungs get cut this time take this !"
A chuku has throwed an air in a shape of a ball attack but he likes to call it uro as the attack has hit the rat
"hah take that ...wait what!"
The rat has shredded the attack like it was nothing and now is Infront of chuku but he was so fast that he cut chuku's throat without resistance of chuku
"ah!.. this ... can't ...be.."
And with that chuku is dead
AdAd now we see chuku in front of the secret tunnel
"that rat ...that is no ordinary rat it seems like a guardian to this place well I won't let that stop me "
Chuku has entered the room again ready this time and the same rat is there with him charging to attack
"let's see how you like triple uro"
Chuku has landed three uro in a consecutive time without leaving an opening for the rat to dodge and it seems to work as the rat is crushed by the uro from every side
"ohh finally to think a rat could be this dangerous means that whatever is in the next room has to be important"
But suddenly 3 rats appeared Infront of chuku jumping to attack him
"WHAT THE!"
Chuku tried to use uro like he did previously but sadly for him these are 3 rats not just 1 Wich means that he doesn't have enough power to kill them and with the rats has reached his throat and cut him and chuku dies
And now we see chuku in front of the secret passage
"this can't be there is more of them and not only that they attack in the same way almost like someone trained them ahh and there is definitely more of them that will cut my throat ahhhh "
He had no other choice but to comeback into the room
"this time I won't trye to fight I will just get past them and defend myself when someone gets close "
As chuku begun his plan he first avoided the first rat but the rat is fast as he already catched up with chuku Wich caused chuku to use uro just to move him away as he needs to store his power and now chuku is Infront of the 3 rats but instead of attacking he instead made it so they go to same place and managed to use triple uro on them effectively and now he is heading to the big door
"I am close I am very close I just need to reach the door "
But sadly for chuku nothing goes as planned and 10 rats has crowded him from every corner
"ohh don't tell me these guys are intelligente"
As chuku trying to spread uro in every direction but sadly he can't do that in time and one rat jumpes on him and cuts his throat and now chuku is dead
And now we see chuku Infront of the secret passage
"ahhh this can't be happening just how many are there and that pain of my throat getting cut I I can't take that it is very painful...no calm down remember what dina said getting stressed won't help I need to calm down ...yes I got it my yuki I noticed that it begun improving for just a little bit Wich means that I will eventually be able to get past these rats after daying for 5....10...20 times at least ? Ahhh I don't want to do that but no I need to stay strong they just cut my throat that is it I can get used to that .... let's trye to finish this fast"
And with that chuku begun his new quest get through the door but it seems like that won't be easy at all as he kept daying over and over again while trying different strategies always thinking "this time I will win "but sadly dies right after with each time he died his yuki improves just a little bit BUT after daying for at least 15 time something else begun improving his physical strength his dodging skills also begun improving and not only that but his mindset kind of begun to think differently instead of thinking "I should keep distance and attack " it changed to"i should get closer so that my uro has more impact " and also "if they managed to get close to me I should shield my throat with my hands while also defend my throat with uro " it seems that chuku has begun improving in fighting like a in video games when you die over and over again instead of trying easy strategies you begun improving is base stuff like dodging and trye to cause damage fast while risking daying and with that chuku kept doing the same thing until he died at least for 58 times but now this time is different this time it feels like he will win
And now we see chuku in the Secret passage entering it with confidence and now he is in the room again but he is ready
"let's do this "
The first rat tries to attack chuku but chuku waits until he gets close to use uro on him from close distance Wich kill the rat now the 3 rats try to attack chuku but chuku has improved in dodging to the point where he can keep up with them but instead of killing them he throws uro in the direction of the door so that the other 10 rats will come but why? Why is he increasing the number of enemies in fact he even threw uro in the ceiling so that the hidden 7 rats appear his actions seems like suside but that confidence in his eyes doesn't seem to shatter and now 5 rats attack him at once to his throat and it seems to work they manga to get to his throat but before they can kill him something happens
"honestly attacking my throat is smart but sadly for you that also reveals where you will "
and chuku was right as the rats walked to his trap as they got shredded to pieces by the uro he put to protect his throat
"but I know that you guys will adapt and try to attack from other places "
as it seems that 10 rats are cornering him and they all jump to attack immediately
"Wich is way I planned to do this"
would you look at that chuku is using yuki but instead of attacking he makes a Mini tornade cover him making it so that the rats have a hard time to attack him and not only that but chuku is trying to make the rats attack each other by accident and it seems to work as the rats stated to shred each other with chuku dodging all the attacks and now 10 other rats are dead
"but it seems that I don't have enough yuki to maintain that mini tornado but don't worry you guys are still gonna die"
and with the tornado has disappeared and now the last 5 are charging on him but this time instead of using yuki to make projectile's he uses it to protect his body
"I hope that this is how Lain uses it hiyaa!"
chuku has the experience of fighting strong rats so him having some physical protection definitely helps and with that chuku has beaten up every rat that was guarding the room
"oh my god finally I did it this was so painful a lot painful and very scary but now I did it I won now let's...oh I guess I celebrated so soon"
as it seems chuku is right as we see the unexpected the rats are coming back up and regenerating using yuki
"I can't believe I didn't notice that until now what an idiot I am ... Theo's are not normal rats Theo's are suki creatures to think that this whole time I have been fighting the wrong person ...ahh well I am already tired and the I know that this is will be painful but resistance will make it worse so can you kill me already"
and with that chuku got his throat cut and died
and now we see chuku Infront of the secret passage
"it all makes sense the weird strength the IQ these are definitely suki creatures that once where alive then made a contract with someone who uses yuki so that they share their power while also forming themselves out of the users yuki it is like a tamer but can only make a contract one time with how many people you want Wich means that as long as I don't kill the user these creatures will stay alive but this asks the question where could he be "
as chuku is now faced with another problem the location of the suki user and it seems like he has no clue so chuku gets around town trying to find that person while also trying to avoid daying but sadly he searches and searches but never finds anyone and if he gets specific they might die and now chuku is siting in a garden being Clue less on how to find this guy without causing pain it seems as if he is in a dead end
"hey you mister"
"? what is there a problem"
"oh nothing it just I noticed that you seem like you are looking for someone I don't know about investigation but I advise that you get the cops help as some people see you like a creep and are starting to get annoyed ...oh! where are my manners sorry I forgot to introduce myself I am tom "
"I am chuku and thanks for the advice I will make sure to follow it"
"oh that is a good thing well have a nice day "
"you too"
as we see tom in the library checking some books about cooking
"oh this recipe might be good "
but suddenly an air in the shape of a sphere is heading towards him and surprisingly he tom catches it
"may I ask why are you trying to kill me mr chuku ? what? did my advice annoy you "
"don't play fool you are the suki user "
"and why would you think that is it some stupid instinct or did you just attack someone randomly in the library in hope that it is the person that you seek to find "
"I have my ways (in all of my memories of me daying I never saw this guy die at all unless for one time where a big tornade has killed many of us Which means that he is strong like lain there is also the fact that he always visits the library and shows care for animals)
"well then I guess you are the person that hurt my rats in order to seek hidden knowledge well you will have to get past me first the guardian of the hidden knowledge "
"wait hear me out I don't wish to fight I need those books to help everyone--"
but sadly tom the guardian of the hidden knowledge didn't let chuku finish
"that has nothing to do with me if you want the hidden knowledge you have to beat me "
"but i--"
"as I said that has nothing to do with me"
"..."
it seems that chuku relised who he is fighting a guy that won't listen to whatever he says with the eyes of someone ready to kill
"...fine but I will make sure to beat you up "
and with chuku is about to fight someone that seems to hold a power far greater then him who would win
