So far I haven't read very far, and I do enjoy the concept and can really only find 1 aspect so far that kinda irks me, the MC's thought process really has me wondering if he is a bit of a moron, and I'm going to continue reading hoping I'm wrong. What I mean by that is he was reborn in the past, spoke to a guy on a VR headset about what happened, which no one should know and he has a hard time believing there's an apocalyptic event going to happen, like seriously wtf is wrong with you, you stupid or something? also, he thinks the old man he spoke to about his rebirth and what happened, which again NO ONE should know an NPC umm... yea unintelligent, SMRT. I really hope this doesn't continue, as the concept of the novel I'm enjoying and everything else i like, but this can be a deal breaker for me.

It’s a good story. Regression, 2nd chances, revenge, vr game. Nothing new, but it highly reminds me of Rebirth of the Thief Who Roamed the World and I loved that novel. Ethan is an ok MC, though I do wish the author would make him a tad smarter. A couple of examples are the old man telling him about the coming disaster and that the game is not just a game. The old man tells him things that no one should know esp about his regression and what does Ethan do? Proceed to treat the game like a, well game 😩. Another example is when he was picking the flowers and the old man warned him to leave the area or his real body would die. Of course that means continue picking flowers and explore a place that would literally send him to King Yama 😩🤦🏾♀️ Another thing that irks me with this genre in general is the author forgetting gear, skills and their own world rules. Skills come out of nowhere conveniently for “plot,” there’s math involved in skills but I skip those parts bc I have yet to see an author remember or math it right. 🤷🏽♀️ What I do like about the novel is the budding romance between Ethan and Lyla. The tag says no sisterhood, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the ice queen chick joins them. I like the guild aspect and the guild battles. Ethan isn’t a complete loner so that’s great. I am looking forward to the game world and the real world coming together. All in all, like most novels, it has it’s flaws but I would recommend it. Good job author. 😁

Currently at chapter 103, why can't VRMMORPGs just be a game. Why always make it complicated. I only know of 2 novels that are still currently just pure VRMMORPG, and they are over at Royalroad. Why must the VRMMORPGs genre/tag always be more than just a game and make it more complicated. I'm still enjoying the game part of the novel, but I'm having a hard time reading through the extra bits about the real world. But still a good novel.
Alright, I’m 11 chapters in and the author asked for reviews, so here goes. There is minor problems with spelling so far, with the first few chapters being almost perfect, but the last few having one or two words misspelled. Nothing major, but I have noticed that readers have pointed them out in the paragraph comments, some as old as a week ago, and they are still there. So room for improvement, but better than 90% of WebNovel books. 8.5/10. Not going to say much for update stability, since it is currently a newer book and chapters are released consistently (for now). 10/10. The story, while compelling, hasn’t gripped me yet. (Minor spoilers) I don’t really care about his ex girlfriend or his arch enemy, and outside of the book being from the MC’s perspective, I can’t find myself rooting for him at the moment. There isn’t anything making me want him to win. Again, it’s early days (chapter 11) but I’m not immediately gripped into the storytelling, at least from a character perspective. 6/10. As with above, the characters have not been fantastic yet. I’m cautiously optimistic, but for now, they are merely outlines in a sketchbook, sans colour or flair. 5/10. The world is where I give this book brownie points. The author has pulled me in to this story almost purely on the back of worldbuilding. Giving me just enough to be interested, without making the next 5 chalters be purely info dumping. Room for improvement, and if I was the author I would be careful about power creep (a couple items and abilities already have the dreaded 200% or 300% bonuses), but I’m a sucker for a good VRMMORPG story. 9/10. I am going to continue reading, and I will try to update this review as I go, but I’ll probably forget. If anyone is interested in my updated opinion, hit this review up with a comment and I’ll see it then. TL:DR pretty good, minor improvements needed. 7.5/10 or a solid B.
I am enjoying the novel but why isn't anyone talking about plot hols. The timings of events are confusing of minor things many times or are not explained. It disrupts my mind from the actual reading.
A MC with the powers of a transforming Druid is a pretty novel idea. Story is a nice chill read, but no more than that. A lot of times the reader is not given need information. An example is stars, which boosts the damage of skills used depending on chance. Author just randomly mentions it in a skill description, and doesn't even explain what they are or how you get them. It is inferred you get them from killing NPCs? But that's the problem, I'm not even 100% sure if that's how you get them. Could be combo score for all I know. A lot of plot holes for the sake of convivence too. The MC literally hits a one in one billion chance to upgrade an item to +30. No build up, it just happens. The main female lead's story with the MC just happens waaaaaay too quick as well. No build up to the reveal.
Editing my initial review. Lyla, the female lead is from a powerful family. I bet you can guess what happens next. Yup. She has a potential future engagement and of course our MC isn’t strong enough to go up against her family yet. Also bc of the mc’s very nature, he is an automatic enemy once they learn of his irl powers. So bc Ethan is currently a weakling, Lyla goes back to her family without really telling him anything and she left while he was on a mission. So, not only will we probably have to endure long separation, but she literally left without saying anything. Ethan had to continually call her before she was allowed to answer. I hate this trope, it is seriously overused and I’d rather there not be “romance,” than have to trudge through this nonsense once again 😩

The mc is hella stubborn, doesnt realize what he is doing sometimes, literally almost dies and he just shruggs it off like nothing happened, cursed necklace latches on to his girlfriend and someone he loves, straight up doesnt care? Dafuq

my selfish review is as follows: i really wish there were more chapters available to binge, because the story became really hard to put down after awhile 😂.. in all honesty i would have given this novel five stars if there were bulk chapters as the story is worth supporting 😅👍 great job author 👏👏👏
I have read up to chapter 150. + English is ok for a non-native like me. Can't really talk about quality though. + Story is frequently updated. Now for the interesting part of the reveiw : - The background is unclear. Many things should be introduced early on but aren't. Some key components of the story just pop in place when author need them. (the relationship between MC and Female lead, for example). It gets a bit better after the story unravel a bit, but still unclear most of the time. + Character are fun, some are quirky. Sometimes it feels forced but that's ok. Main characters are lovable, the banter is nice, and relationships dynamics are clear and well explained. +/- Story developpement is cut into two part : in the game and out of the game. It feels like two different stories for now. There is potential I think, but it feels weird at times. I was hooked around chapter thirty I think ? But paywall at 150 chapters. = Could be a fun read if you are looking for something to keep you busy between two books.
this novel is defenitly inspired from World of Warcraft game and to be fair I have not read more than 3 chapters so my total score does not count.
Keep the pace up. I am rooting for this novel, I actually like no-harem romance genre.

Then, despite everything you've been through, you go and put that helmet on your head... What happens next is the cliché that you are the chosen one... great novel with one big problem. Author keeps forgetting what he said few chapters back. Like MC had no idea Lyla is moonbean in one chapter and knew her in-game 5 chapters later. Lyla was in enemy faction but suddenly few chapters later they played together.... just take notes man
Inspired by Rebirth of the Thief I presume? Eerily similar in several aspects. Either that or both you and author Mad Snail had similar premises and/or inspiration. No hate, love this kind of stuff. Keep it up.
30 chapters in and i can say i am throughly enjoying it some minor spelling mistakes here and there but overall story and world building is on point it is your typical regression/revenge vmmorpg story but its actually very well written no excessive info dumping just the right amount to get you to where you need to be the set ups for later chapters are all very well written and the mc is not overly op he just has a slight advantage all in all id suggest a pick up if u like game like stories
