I know this MC isn't conquering women like picking flowers and he isn't a horny sex beast at age 10 (not hit puberty yet) but that does not mean he is gay!
I wanted to show platonic, healthy male friendships, but I guess putting harem in the tags makes people misunderstand.
So here :
Yes, he has a female only harem. No, he is not gay.
Yes, Yubelluna will be part of the harem but she will not be part of the peerage, not his peerage at least. She will be put in Ravel's peerage, cuz she's smokin' hot but does not have Satan Class potential.
Mc's peerage has almost all members be those who can reach Satan Class power by their teens, which means yes, MC's peerage is 10 guys and 6 girls. Its not an all girl peerage.
No one said the peerage had to be the harem too. Mc can have more wives and girlfriends outside the peerage too. Hope that clears it up for new readers.
This is a political and action thriller. Mostly wholesome. Sometimes evil MC.

4. Rias Gremory may be a love interest, but she will not be the butt of the joke all the time. Only sometimes.

6. MC fucking up sometimes because he knows DXD only from fanfics. Fanon is not canon, ladies and laddies.
7. MC being a filthy cheater, speedrunning, jailbreaking, min-maxxing DND style power gamer (No, there is no system, this is NOT a system novel). He will find and exploit every loophole, every trick up his sleeve. And your sleeve. Not that sleeve, you perv~
8. Only canon power sources though, no ass pull secret Mary Sue style power ups etc.
9. MC will start weak, work hard to be strong, but he will hide his power level until he is strong enough.

ch 28 at this point one of the best riser mc , good development , well writen , no an idiotic catch of harem , you buy my atention with the synopsis , you keep it with the development of the story
First proper review from my end if i missed anything let me know. 1. The writing quiality as of ch30 has been good im personaly listening through the audio: And therfore cant comment on punctation, but the grammar seems good. 2. Uppdate stability is good as of now aswell 3. I am not familiar enogh with DxD to comment on how well the changes works within the world. But the mc is making changes that i can see a logic too and the pace makes the things he does seem reasonable 4. I really like the character of the mc and how the family dynamic has been introdused with the family being suportive and having a purpose unlike in other fanfics. 5. Dont know enough about the world. But the world building is going deep enough with the concepts being introdused in a beginer friendly way though i thonk the start was a bit rushed.
Had high expectations after reading the synopsis and even the author’s own comments, but this story has turned out disappointingly mediocre. The pacing drags terribly — five chapters were spent on an event that could’ve been summed up in one. The sudden shift of the Phenex clan’s origin to Chinese mythos felt like a random, ill-conceived choice. It could have worked as a late-stage reveal to justify future power-ups, but instead, it was mentioned once and promptly abandoned.Character relationships are shallow and underdeveloped. The entire Sairaorg trauma chapter fell flat because there was no emotional setup — we don’t even know how these characters truly relate to each other. The plotline about releasing Sairaorg from his peerage makes no sense. Evil Pieces can’t simply be undone; reincarnated devils can be traded with equal or empty pieces, but not “released.” The only time evil pieces return is when the reincarnated devil dies completely — soul destruction and all.Misla Bael’s reaction to Sairaorg joining the peerage is wildly out of character. Devils are prideful beings; no proud noblewoman would let herself be browbeaten into a contract by a ten-year-old third son of a weaker house. Even the parents’ behavior was completely off — joking, swearing, and acting casually in what should be a serious political negotiation. As aristocrats, image and decorum should matter deeply, especially when dealing with someone of higher standing. Even if Sairaorg were disinherited, he’d still be a Bael, and poaching him would be a grave insult.Given Zekrom’s political influence, the idea that the Phenex clan couldn’t be pressured to give up Riser is laughable. Overall, my hopes for this story are steadily slipping away with each chapter. I’ll keep reading for now, but the writing needs drastic improvement to recover any of that lost potential.

Honestly this entire book is just a slogfest. The first ten chapters are literally just him yapping to random characters about things no one cares about. You can even call this slow paced because at least a slow paced story has an interest to you to build upon. Yap yap yap all the damn time. Promising but extremely boring.
It is a great FF it really is but it is too slow and in the setting of highschool dxd it really boring. anyone who likes a slow paced dragging novel this is for them.

ok iv been reading this for around 3 days and I can finally say it THIS IS BY FAR!! THE BEST DXD RISER FIC OUT THERE Iv found at least 5 fanfics where the MC is riser and all of them just start with the MC as an adult and his peerage, having a system or something BUT THIS, this is special we can actually see him grow up, and get stronger all by himself WITHOUT A SYSTEM, and most importantly HE HAS FRIENDS!!, Not just an army of girls who want him he's not some lowlife self-insert aura farmer, he's normal and has a real non-romantic relationship Definitely in my top 3 dxd fics up there with "Re kiba" and "Annihilation maker" It's all surprising wholesome, no horniness, no unnecessary gore or violence It's like if you top dxd and turned it into one of those "my next life as the villainess" anime High praise this is cinema needs more issei slander
Hello everyone! Author here. As is the grand tradition of webnovel, let me start by giving myself five stars. This story began when I read a Riser SI fanfic on here and it was just so disappointing. Made up devils, ass pull power ups, no logic or sense to the MC's actions. I looked at that and thought, "I can do that waaay better, and without straying from canon." So here we are. The story is an action political thriller. MC will move in the shadows of the plot, skirt the protagonists and get supreme power one step at a time. No instant Satan Class power ups, no system, no gacha. Just pure cunning and smarts. The story starts a little slow, so please give it till the eighth chapter at least. I promise, the chapters are good but exploring the worldbuilding takes time. From chapter eight onward though, it is action and scheming, non-stop. So have patience and give it 8 chapters. Honestly loving it compared to the usually dxd harem trope slop. I really love how much time the author is taking to fleshout the mc's friends and family. Personaly I think the exposition of the first few chapters are needed since the author needs to deconstruct Riser's villain persona from our minds. I also love the focus on creativity and not the girls although that's reason I am watching a dxd fic and not a fate fic. I think the best thing about this fic so far is it's ability to keep me interested in the slice of life moments: I usually hate them with a passion but this fic isn't bad. It's very entertaining.
Really great Fanfiction and I suggest people to try on it it is very rare for MC to be reincarnated as Riser and also to be this intelligent and competent with good family members and for story to start early on before the plot timeline so it is really interesting and good because it shows you how MC gets stronger and make his preparation on world stage step by step and give time to build the world around him.

Thus far I have high hopes I never get tired of riser SI he has the right blend of strong but not to strong power circumstance and engagement in the main plot to always be entertaining plus I enjoy watching issei get the stuffing beat out of him. Also love how you portrayed young rias it was adorable.
Absolute little gem! The pacing is exceptional, the characters are well-fleshed-out, the world has been given its proper due in buildup and depth instead of it being just about mammaries bouncing around, and the protagonist actually seems to… have a plan! One that isn’t about dicking anything that moves or stealing everything that should by any means be unstealable. I really appreciate this deviation from your usual DxD fanfic. Keep up the good work, author! It’s been a pleasant read so far, and I’m looking forward to the rest!
So far so good, the mc acts like a child and an adult ( Given his memories). We haven´t seen so far feats of powers , much of ideas ( I am talking about the comment section part). Lore is mostly consistente ( Given the loose lore of DxD in some parts). Love the ratio of updates so far. The story is in good development , a tiny mistake would be the homo moment with Sairaorg but we will look the other way this time. ( The mc is not homo but the writing was a bit homo in that chapter). Hope to see Mc gets Sirzech in check as well as other factions. Speaking of this as of now , we haven´t really see any political game besides the Sai incident, we haven´t seen anything. I will post another review as the ff advances. So far so good.

what can I say, Incredibly well written. Whether it be the political intrigue, the juxtaposition where the mc's family are kind and loving to each other, while being horrible people to others. The MC is an absolutely evil menace (and I mean that in a good way). Resorting to using a child's trauma and then pretending to be on his side in order to trick him into a peerage, using a mother's guilt in order to force her into agreeing to something that she should not have. I truly don't understand how people complaining missed these simple clues, but such is life. Keep cooking author
