I have a hypothesis. im not sure how close to history this will follow, obviously things have already changed but I shall leave this here in case im right. I cant remember if the mc's dad was mentioned at the start, anyways I have a feeling the mc is a price of Qin. it was stated before and hinted the the Emperor's past relationship was broken up due to political stuff, what if the mc's mom was that woman? That would explain her knowledge of how to read and her medical experience. What if she was kicked out for some reason and was pregnant but no one knew. thats why when the mc's hometown was first mentioned to the emperor he was shocked but when they mentioned she had 2 kids he didnt think much of it and brushed it off. anyways this is just my guess 🤷
Update. I still like the novel, but be cautious. At the start and into the early middle, the chapters were long and fulfilling. even if it took multiole chapters to cover 1 or a few scenes, it was kept interesting and detailed. but from the mid to the chapters just released, it has turned into a money grab. you can obviously tell that they cut a single chapter into multiple ones. some chapters are just conversations that carry on into the next. Another thing is repeated information to fill the word count. The same infirmation is brought up in multiple chapters, just rephrased and with different characters. Instead of cutting it short or giving a brief description, they will literally have the same conversation just worded differently than the characters before. So unless you're prepared to spend a lot of coins, I would suggest just skipping this one.
again, I like this novel, but cmon. I guess the dialogue is interesting, sort of, but we know all the infirmation that was in this chapter already...well except the ending. but this chaoter could have just been added to another one. It covers nothing new, just a repeat of information like always. Honestly, I dont think I'll be spending any more coins on this, or at least no the privilege. I'd rather use fast passes. Its obvious that they are cutting 1 chapter into multiple parts to make more money, and honestly, I'd rather read this somewhere else than on webnovel if its going to be like that.
Dont get me wrong, Im loving this so far, but i wish it was like the beginning. at the start and towards the middle of the novel, the chapters were long, but now they seem to have cut 1 chapter into multiple parts, probably to make more money off of chapter unlocks . Also, I know it's probably for the word count and this is what annoys me too since like I said the chapters used to be long so I guess it didnt matter much then but now its kind of lame, but they seem to spend a lot of time each chapter going over what happened the previous chapter. theirs so much dialogue that isn't needed that explains what just happened, that could be used to actually make each chapter worthwhile. Since the start of this war, at least a few paragraphs, each chapter has described the Wei general being cautionary or like the other general from Zhao, like we get it, stop filling up the word count with information you've already given us. the same thing with describing how Wei's nation fate is counting on this war. Anytime the pov cut to the general from wei, he always brought it up or how he wished the mc was on his side, or those Wei wu troops or whatever being the best.
This will probably implicate their families right? Tsk Tsk 🙂↔️
Honestly, I have enjoyed this so far. The translation is good, and I haven't noticed any major issues or even small ones like the normal she/he mistranslations. I will say the transition from wanting to live low-key and return home to being high-key and gaining strength is pretty fast. The only reason that this wasn't an issue for me is because it happened early on, and the reason was exceptable to me. The Mc's system allows him to collect attributes from corpses, and this is a minor spoiler, I guess, but also from killing enemies (he gets way more when he kills). i would rather him switch from passive to aggressive, especially since it helps him more, which he does, but some people complain the switch happens to fast but I prefer that than waiting forever for him to make proper use of his system. Overall, I think it's a good read. The story is good, too, and is one of the few novels I've been waiting for an update from.
hmm, maybe? I can see how this guy can be more useful early on. sure, having an S-Rank warrior could be good, but i see that as more of a mid to late game thing. it depends on how this world works with preventing higher lords for attacking lower ones. i would think resources management is important early on, especially with developing the land correctly. It could go both ways tbh.
"So, a newly awakened Lord, is it? Fascinating. I must say, summoning me is likely the best stroke of fortune you've had so far. I am an Efficient Tactician, skilled in Resource Allocation, Logistic Mastery, Merchant Strategy... and other useful things."

missing the Dragon Arts from the previous chapter.
Ngl Kinda confused. Did he or did he not steal his son's cultivation. Also, the ending makes it seem like they knew that Airship was coming. How? also, are the Cultivators in this shi that weak??? it never said the mc had any cultivation, and he wasn't in good condition either way, and the girl is a level below the guards, but they are able to beat them? This just feels like a major plot hole and super forced. And im not only talking about right only now, but the other guards they took out along the way should have some cultivation.
what the heck, when was this?
