Chapitre 6: Stats and Skills
This is mostly an info-dump chapter. If you don't want to read the stats here, check the "Hestia Familia" chapter in Auxiliary Ch. and the Adalwulf Blågrønn Stats. If you read this by the time this chapter can be considered "old" or the "Hestia Familia" states that it is of a newer chapter, plase, stick to this chapter.

Hestia's face upon seeing Ad's stats was a sight to behold. All possible pretense of divine perfection that she could have, dropped to the ground with her mouth so open that her jaw almost hit the floor.

Innate Skills:
·Vánagandr Ofvöxtur (Fenrir's Overgrowth): Allows the user to break through the limit of S in Basic Abilities, growing above those of his same level. This skill also renders any kind of curse, spell or charm that affects the user's free will, as it would stunt his growth. "When thou yearns for growth, thy mortal vessel shalt break thy limits."
·Skuggaþrjótur (Shadow Trigger) {Locked}: This skill has two stages. The first one gives the user a "Devil Form" in which his stats are augmented and the user's sword takes the form that is most suited for his soul. In its second stage, the limiters are removed, which simply doubles the user's stats and creates a twin sword. To enter the second stage, the user must recite a chant. In both stages, the user can move through shadows.
·Chant: "Shadow, thou whom swallows all of creation when they fall under the blanket of Nott. Answer mine call, and aid me in mine quest."
·Samkennd (Empathy): Allows the user to be more in touch with emotions, giving the capacity to both transmit and perceive feelings. The user can only transmit emotions to those he sees as allies. Divine beings may be inmune to the skill if they have negative emotions towards the user. "Thou who seeks for understanding, shalt find his meaning."
Skills:
<Fishing (B)>: Increases the chances of catching rare fishes. It is related to Luck, which stems from Fate. "Ho, did ya think I would left empty-handed?"
<Swordsmanship (A)>: Corrects the form and fluidity of movements when wielding a sword of any kind. "A good swordsman can cut even with a wooden sword."
<Nimble Body (C)>: Increses the dexterity with which the user moves his body. "A cat always falls on its legs."
<Tracker (S)>: Increases the user's capacity of finding trails and tracking objectives. "A good hunter is that which never allows his prey to escape."
<Magic Affinity (C)>: The user's affinity to Magic increases the more he is exposed to it. Gives the user a chance to learn a Spell just by listening to its Chant. "A sage is he who knows without the need to see."

Adalwulf: What is it? Can I see my skills? Hestia? Hestia!
Hestia: Ah! *nervous chuckle* Sure, sure. Here. Look all you want.
Ad's own reaction was pretty similar to Hestia's. His skills were pretty much what he had asked for and then some. According to what he read from Fenrir's Overgrowth, he was immune to mind control! And his Shadow Trigger could even double his stats. Of course, with the consumption of his "mana", but it was still too cool. Even his Empathy skill was incredible. It meant he embodied the concept of empathy itself, not just a part of it.
Adalwulf: So that is the reason why I could perceive what other felt so accurately!
Natsuki: What do you mean, Adalwulf?
Adalwulf: Look at it yourself.
It would seem as a stupid move, showing his skills and stats to someone other than his Goddess. But he could feel nothing but respect, admiration and a certain comfort from Natsuki. This, combined with her being the only other person in the Familia, pushed him to trust her as much as possible. Besides, since Hestia hadn't intervened, it meant she agreed with his decision.
Natsuki: This are the stats of someone who just became an Adventurer?!
Adalwulf: In my defense, I have cheat-like skills and have been training and hunting monster since I was twelve.
Hestia: That means you Overgrowth allowed you to absorb some Excellia even without a Falna... Ad-ku...
Adalwulf: I don't plan on telling people I don't know if I can trust about this, don't worry. Besides, as you have clearly seen, I am immune to mind control.
After reaching the conclusion that, until it was safe, the skills Ad had would remain hidden from others, he was made to leave the room. It was Natsuki's turn to receive her Falna. And it was another commotion of its own.

Innate Skills:
·Tsuki no Ishiyumi (Moon's Crossbow) {Locked}: The user can focus moonlight in a crossbow and fire arrows composed of Mana and Light. Moonlight, having purifying properties, deal more damage against monsters and cursed beings. The user must use a chant to activate the skill.
·Chant: "Moon of silver, share thine precious gift with this poor soul. Aid me in mine journey, and bath my cursed enemies in thine pure shine."
·Tsuki no Odori (Moon's Dance): A flash of movement that is akin to a that of a dance. It boosts the user's Agility and allows him to avoid attacks with ease. It doesn't require a chant, but the user must be far from the attack for this skill to work. Every time it activates, the user will shine in silver and move gracefully.
Skills:
<Dancing (A)>: Eases the user's movements while dancing, the style is irrelevant. "She was so graceful in the ball. I felt like I had seen a swan flap its wings."
<Aiming (B)>: Augments the accuracy with which the user shoots his target. "Your accuracy is such, that you would hunt squirrels by shooting them in the eyes. Every single time."
<Cooking (C)>: The dishes made by the user will always taste good, and can even uplift the mood of people. "A woman should always aim for the belly when nothing else works!"
Magics:
·Gekkō (Moonlight) {Locked}: This spell heals those who are favored by the moon, which is the caster. Those recognized as Allies will not only be healed, but will also receive a temporary and small boost to their Stats. The strain on the caster depends on the amount of people healed.
·Chant: "Grant me and mine allies thine blessing, merciful Moon, thou who art in every place and in none at the same time. Show your brilliant light and dispel darkness this night. Escape the sun's grasp, wandering Moon, and aid my cause."
Development Skills: <Dancer>(Locked) <Chef>(Locked) <Sharpshooter>(Locked)]
Adalwulf: Well... even if your stats aren't as high as mine, your skills certainly don't fall behind. You will be the best long range fighter we'll have. Besides, you can heal people! Do you get how useful and amazing that is?!
Natsuki: W-Well, i-if you praise my Skills l-like that...
Adalwulf: No-no-no. Not your Skills. You. Those are YOUR skills. You make them, they don't make you. What I am praising is you, Nat-su-ki~
Hestia: Ad-kun! Stop teasing her so much!
Adalwulf: Perhaps you would like me to tease you instead, Hes-ti-a~
Hestia blushed madly at Ad's teasing. But in her mind, she was beaming with happiness. She had gotten a Familia after so long, and the members she got were incredible. Not becasue of their Skills or potential for the future. But because of how caring they were. She now had a Family... and perhaps something else.
One thing she was sure about. With such a Captain and Vice-Captain, things would never be boring.

Before anyone asks: The reason some skills are locked, is because they lack enough "Mana" or "Magic Stat" to use them.
Also, the reason why Ad's stats aren't higher, is because they are already high for someone who never had a Falna before, as he shouldn't even have stats beyond I - 10 or so. Same thing applies to Natsuki.
