"I would like for you to meet someone," Grant said to Alanor who had been standing away from the crowd for a while now. It was almost like the young Wynter knew he wasn't going to be getting a mate from this place.

He had watched Ulrike and Zelina confirm their bond and frankly, to him, that had to be the most beautiful thing in the night. Those two deserved each other and even more happiness because they had always been more than selfless when it came to Alanor.

He didn't wish for anything other than a long and prosperous life for his favorite people and friends.

'Oh Goddess,' Alanor said to himself, unsure whether he was happy or sad that his mate had gotten someone who would take care of him better than Alanor ever tried to. Maybe this was for the best, who was he kidding, of course, this was for the best.
