Chapitre 14: FIRST TRAINING SESSION I
After coming back to their motel room . The old man asked Raphinha if they can go sight seeing the out side as they didn't have a chance to do it the past days . Raphinha didn't oppose the old man's request as he also wanted to take some free time strolling the streets of sau paulo .
It was now late evening and Raphinha and the old man came back from their sight seeing as the old man was exhausted from all the walk as they didn't rent any transportation means .
so they walked around for full five hours and the old man was really tired . After coming back they washed them selves from the exhaustion and ate their dinner .
After the the old man was preparing to sleep when his phone started ringing . he looked at the number and he recognised it instantly .
He answered it and said " how are you Sophie my sister ? "
Mother Sophie " I am fine my dear bother . how are you and my boy is every thing okay ? "
Old man CAIO " we are fine dear and the boy just signed his first contract i will pass him to the phone wait a little " he then called for Raphinha who was having his yoga session and passed the phone to him . he said " your mom is in on the phone "
Raphinha " hello mom how are you are you taking your medicine ? "
mother Sophie " relax boy i am okay and I am taking my medicine . so how was your day i heared that you signed a contract . i proud of you son i knew your hard work will pay off "
Raphinha " okay mom don't cry i do everything for you mom i don't want my family to suffer every time and I promise I will improve our living condition as high as I can so mom please look after your health and in this world nothing is much worthy than you " he said it while tears rolling from his eyes . in this life he has to protect and do everything he can for his mom and makes her happy again like she was when his father was alive . he has to make he smile like she did before and replace all her sad moments with happy moments .
Mother Sophie " don't worry about me boy i know your doing your best so be great full at what you have know and work hard to improve your self as the best as you can and i wish you all the luck you can get "
Raphinha " okay mom bye mom "
After disconnecting from the call he went to the old man who was on the bed and gave him the phone and said " hey old man tomorrow you will be returning to the neighbourhood as I will be moving to the appartment that the club has prepared for me so sleep well tonight as it will be the last night we will be togather " he said it while smiling .
Old man " Ooh so your gonna move . it's okay i really missed my baby girl and my little sister . I am really looking forward to my return " he said it while also smiling .
Raphinha " okay i will finish my yoga session and sleep as I need all the rest i can get " he said while sighing at the old man shamelesslness.
After that he continued with his session and after finishing it he went directly to his bed preparing to sleep .
SEPTEMBER 1 2015
This was the day the U 18 players were returning from their long break . This day Raphinha woke up 5 o'clock morning it was dark as the sun rise was after an hour so he wore his track suit and started his morning fitness routine . it was cold out side but he body was strong and he didn't care much of the cold temperature . After running for an hour and half time he came back to the motel . he took off the track suit and took a towel made his way to the bathroom but before going to the bathroom he went to the old man who was snorting and sleeping like a baby . he shaked him for a while before waking him up and said to him " hey old man wake up you have a journey to take and here you are sleeping like a baby instead of preparing for your journey "
After waking him he went to the bathroom washed and came out for breakfast . After their breakfast they had their good byes as the old man left . After the old man left it was already 7 o'clock so Raphinha only had one hour before the training session starts .
he wore his kit and a sport shoes and started running . After running for a while he reached the stadium . he went strightly to the COACH office .
After arriving at the office door he knocked it two time as he wanted to knock the door again he heared a voice " come in "
He opened the door and then saw the coach who sitting in his chair massaging his templates . he had a black circles in his eyes like a sleepless person .
Coach Gilberto " ooh hello Raph i see you are early today so are you ready for your training session today "
Raphinha " yes coach I very excited "
Coach Gilberto " okay well we will see it then . go to the dressing room you will meet there with my assistant coach he will give you small tour around our stadium "
Raphinha " okay coach " after that he left the office heading toward a large hall whicy was near the youth management building .
After arriving at the hall he saw a small door at the end of the hall . their stood a middle aged man who was in his early 40's .
After seeing me the man reached out his arm asking me to shake hand . I did the same and shook his hand . he smilled at me and said " hello player Raphinha i heared a lot a bout you from the head coach . you really look like the beast he was describing "
Raphinha " thank you coach "
Assistant coach " okay as you are the only new player to arrive this year I will only give you the tour so let's go "
The went to different places for a while like the Gym , post match therapy room , interview room .
Then they came back to the dressing room .
Assistant coach " okay the tour is complete I think now you know every place you need to know so prepare your self and wear your training attire . training will start soon .
as they were talking the saw 5 incoming players who laughing and talking loud .
but after seeing the assistant coach the became quite . the assistant coach " hey boy's i see your at high spirit . This is your new team mate i hope you welcome him in open hands and training will start soon so be quick . you must be at the training ground before we arrive or your punishment will be heavy " after giving a final warning he left .
The players looked at me like looking a tall tree . while they were looking i moved towards them reaching my hand to them as they shaked my hands subconsciously .
Raphinha " hello my name is RAPHINHA but you can call me Raph . so how can i call you ?
while the others were looking me one of them cleared his throat and said " hello Raph i am the captain and my name is Gabriel . I welcome you to the team " and after that the others also did the same .
Raphinha " thank you all for your warm welcome i really appreciate it "
Gabriel " it's okay so let's prepare for our training session "
they all entered the room which had a lot of Adidas and nike boots . but the training kits were Made by Under armour which was at contract with sau paulo fc .
After wearing his training attire , Raphinha came out of the room heading to the training ground while jogging .
