Chapitre 6: The Black Swordsman
February 23, 2024 - Floor 35: Lost Forest
2 months have passed since that message I got from Sachi and I have recovered a bit but... I guess you can say that... I don't want to meet people anymore.
I've investigated some things such as why couldn't I move or talk back at the incident and it looks like the System was the one causing it. It looks like the System doesn't want me to change the canon route so anything major such as saving Moonlit Black Cats is off-limits. If I do anything that does change the story the System will force me to go through the canon route.
I've been pretty much just grinding some materials in Floor 35 well that's the only thing I can do since I maxed out my cooking and baking skills and my blacksmithing skill is almost at maxed so there's really nothing else to do but grind for extra EXP, Col, and materials I looked at the top left and see my level is 76 about 2 levels under Kirito
Hikari: 'Looks like I got the materials I needed good time to go.' As I was just about to leave I heard a conversation nearby and then it clicked
Rosalia: "What? You've got that lizard to heal you. You don't need any heal crystals."
Hikari: 'Right I forgot I was still in the show. This is the part where Silica was about to go off alone and in a few hours she will meet Kirito soon.'
Silica: "What about you? You never fight from the front. So do you need crystals?" You go Silica
Rosalia: "Of course I do... I'm not a child idol like you, Silica-chan, so boys won't heal me." Silica gets even angrier
Player 1: "C-Come on, you two..."
Hikari: 'This son of a- I'm confused on how the hell these idiot boys don't get they are being manipulated by her. Are they just THAT desperate to get a hot woman?'
Silica: "Fine! I don't need the items. I won't be partying with you anymore. There are plenty of parties that want me." She then heads off
Hikari: 'And this is why I love being solo sure it's a lot more dangerous but you get all the rewards for yourself.'
Player 2: "Hey, Silica-chan!" The party members tried to stop Silica but ultimately failed
Hikari: 'It's time to get ready for tonight.' I then went into another hunting spot to grind some extra materials
~A few hours~
Hikari: 'She should be around here somewhere' I then heard sounds of fighting going and went rushed toward the direction of the sounds
Hikari: 'I know she's safe but I just want to make sure.' I finally arrived at the battle and hid behind a tree and then watch it unfolds
I saw three Drunken Apes, a baby Dragon, and Silica in a battle I didn't get involved since she's safe, and even if I want to the System will force me to stop
Silica reaches for her pouch for more healing items but had run out
Silica: "No healing items?!" She then got hit by their clubs and was launched into the side of the tree with her HP in the red and I had a worried look on my face
Hikari: 'I-I know she's safe Kirito will come just hang on Silica.' I was gripping my arm tightly since I am useless when these kinds of situations happen
The Drunken Ape was going to hit her when Pina took the hit
Silica: "Pina! Pina... Pina!" Pina's HP was going down to zero and since she had no healing items she couldn't do anything to stop it
Pina then suddenly went blue and closed her eyes signify she was going to disintegrate
Silica: "Pina... Pina!" She grabbed hold of her pet dragon but she disintegrated into particles leaving only a feather left
Hikari: 'Where is he?'
The Apes were now right behind her and tries to end her when suddenly they all burst into particles
Hikari: 'Phew better late than never Kirito.' I sighed in relief when I saw Kirito
Unfortunately, Kirito didn't make it sooner to save Pina
Silica: "Pina..." she grabs a hold of the feather
Silica: "Don't leave me alone... Pina!" She then starts crying
Hikari: 'If only if it wasn't for the stupid System I would have saved both of them...'
Kirito: "What's that feather?" He asks
Silica: "It's Pina. My partner..."
Kirito: "You're a beast tamer? Sorry. I didn't make it in time to save your friend."
Silica: "No... It's because I was being reckless. I was in way over my head, thinking I could waltz out of here alone." She then looks at Kirito
Silica: "Thank you very much... for saving me."
Kirito: "Does that feather have an item name or something?" He kneels down and Silica checks the item name and it says "Pina's Heart" after that she started to cry again until Kirito told her the news
Kirito: "Don't cry. As long as you have Pina's soul, it's still possible to resurrect her."
Silica: "Really?"
Kirito: "Yes. In the southern part of the 47th Floor, there's a field dungeon called the Hillmof Memories. I've heard that the flower at its summit can resurrect a familiar." Silica was happy until it turned into a sad face
Silica: "The 47th Floor..." At her level, it would be reckless to go through there
Kirito: "If you reimbursed me, I'd get it for you, but... Apparently, the flower only blooms in the presence of a beast tamer."
Silica: "The information alone is more than I could ask for. If I work hard to level, someday I'll..."
Kirito: "Familiars can only be revived within three days after their death." Her eyes widen
Hikari: 'Did you really have to drop that bomb on her?'
Silica: "No way... It's my fault... I'm sorry, Pina." Kirito stood up
Kirito: "Don't worry. Three days are plenty." He then sends equipment to Silica
Kirito: "These equips will provide a stat of at least five extra levels. If we go together, you should be able to manage."
Silica: "Why would you go so far for me?"
Hikari: 'Because you're too pure for this death game Silica.'
Kirito: "If you promise not to laugh, I'll tell you."
Silica: "I promise."
...
Kirito: "It's because you look like my sister." She then starts laughing and I smiled
Silica: "I'm sorry. Um, I'm sure the equipment's worth a lot more than I can afford, but..." She was about to send her Col but Kirito stops her
Kirito: "No, don't worry about it. It's not like I'm going out of my way to help you, after all."
Hikari: 'I wonder Kirito what's your true motive?' Obviously, Kirito is going to use and help Silica as I already know that
Silica: "Oh, my name is Silica."
Kirito: "I'm Kirito. I hope we get along during our time together." They both shook hands then they both head to the town
Hikari: 'Looks like it's time to go' I went out of my hiding spot and decided to not get involved with any of the story as it will just hurt me more...
Drunken Ape: "Grrrrrrrr....." What?
A Drunken Ape was just behind the two and Kirito wasn't paying attention
Hikari: 'That wasn't in the show before! And why isn't Kirito doing anything!?! Doesn't he have the Detection skill to know his surroundings!?'
Silica: "W-What..." she turns around to see the Drunken Ape was going to hit her and she realized she didn't heal
Silica: "EEEEEEYAAAAAH!!" She closed her eyes
Hikari: 'Oh screw it.' I rushed in with my sword and sliced the Ape in half and disintegrating it
Silica: "H-Huh?" She looks up at me
Hikari: 'Great... I don't want to be involved so I'll just walk away. Maybe she'll think I was doing it for grinding for materials.' I then started walking away when Silica called me and I tensed up
Silica: "W-Wait" the went up to me
Silica: "Thank you for saving me." I only nodded and walked again when I was called by Kirito
Kirito: "Wait Hikari." I looked at him
Kirito: "You were here this entire time right?" I sweatdropped
Hikari: 'I thought I had a high enough skill level to hide my presence so he knew?' I shakily nod my head
Silica: "Wait you were watching us?" I nod again
I gave a look of a "How did you know" face
Kirito: "It was actually when I was talking with Silica. It was only for a split second but I felt you nearby so I knew you were watching so I decided to make you show up by pretending to not pay attention to my surroundings."
Kirito: "You were watching us until you know she was safe after that, you decide to stop watching and went on your way."
Silica: "You were?" I gave her a nod and look at Kirito
Hikari: "So why did you plan this?" I asked in a monotoned voice
Kirito: "To make you come with us." What...
He then went closer to me so Silica won't hear
Kirito: "You've been really distant ever since that day so I wanted you to come with us so you can be your old self again." I frowned
Kirito: "And besides you helped me back on the 1st floor and with the Moonlit Black Cats this time I'll be the one to help you." I sighed and he backed away
Kirito: "So do you want to come with us?"
Silica: "Really she can!?" She had such a happy smile to the point where I had no choice but to say yes
Hikari: "S-Sure I'll come with you guys." I made a small smile and Silica was happy to know this
Silica: "I'm Silica."
Hikari: "Hikari, nice to meet you Silica."
Silica: "Thank you again for saving me and watching me over till I was safe."
Hikari: "No problem." I patted her head which she was embarrassed about, I smiled but secretly I was frowning. I was there the whole time and I didn't do a thing
Kirito: "Well let's go." The three of us started to walk to town
Hikari: 'Why me...' I sighed
35th Floor: Mishe
After a few minutes we were back in the town and we were walking to the Inn however we were interrupted by two... Who are they again?
Girl Boy: "Oh, it's Silica-chan!" Silica looks over to the two
Fatty: "You were in that forest all day. We were getting worried."
Silica: "U-Um-" She tries to speak but gets interrupted
Girl Boy: "Party with us next time. We can go wherever you want!"
Hikari: 'Why can't they back off? It's clear she's getting uncomfortable.'
Silica: "I appreciate the offer, but..."
Hikari: 'Welp I think it's time to start Kirito's harem now.' I shrugged since I knew what will happen anyway
But.....
Silica grabbed my arm instead of Kirito
Silica: "I've decided to party up with these two for a while." What?
The two players gave an angry look at Kirito but not at me since I and Silica are girls.
She then makes both me and Kirito walk back in the direction of the Inn while Silica was still holding my arm
Silica: "Sorry."
Once we were far enough Silica apologize
Silica: "I'm sorry for troubling you guys."
Hikari: "It's fine Silica I don't mind." Kirito nods then ask Silica a question
Kirito: "Are they your fans? You sure are popular." Silica frowned
Silica: "No... I'm sure they only intend for me to be the party's mascot. But even though I realized that. I got conceited when they started calling me Dragon Tamer Silica..." She stopped walking and I sighed
Hikari: "Don't listen to them." She looks at me
Hikari: "If you keep those thoughts in your mind you're going to have a hard time living in this world. So my advice is just to be yourself if you wanna fight then fight simply as that and don't worry. Because with the three of us we can definitely make it in time to revive Pina and also." I patted her head which made Silica surprised
Hikari: "The Dragon Tamer Silica is a cute title." I smiled I expected her to be in her cheerful self again and she did. She was now happy but what I didn't expect was that I can see a bit of red color in her cheeks
Hikari: 'Wait is she blushing? Why?' Isn't she suppose to be in his Harem?
Silica: "Do you guys live Is around this floor?"
Hikari: "I don't have a house so I just live anywhere that has an Inn " I don't really see why I need to buy a house as renting a room is much cheaper than buying a house
Kirito: "Mines on the 50th Floor. but... it'll be easier if all of us stick together, so I think I'll spend the night here."
Silica: "Really?! The cheesecake here is pretty good, you know!"
Hikari: "I bet it is."
Rosalia: "Well, if it isn't Silica?"
Hikari: 'Great not this woman.' The three of us looked at Rosalia and her party members
Rosalia: "Wow, you made it out of the forest? Good for you." The both of us look at the uncomfortable Silica
Kirito: "Something wrong?" While I gave her a look
Silica: "No, it's nothing."
Rosalia: "Hm? Where's the lizard? Don't tell me it..." She leans forward with a smile on her face
Hikari: 'I want to punch her face right about now.'
Silica: "Pina died. But, I'll resurrect her, no matter what!" She said with a determined face
Rosalia: "So you're planning to go to the Hill of Memories? Though, will you be able to reach it at your level?" After she says that Silica starts to wonder if the three of us can do it
...
Nothing...
Hikari: 'Wait a minute why isn't Kirito saying anything?' I looked at him and he is doing nothing!
Hikari: 'Really Kirito? You seriously want me to get involved in this huh?' I gave him an annoyed face
Silica starts to tear when I placed my hand on her shoulder and Silica looks at me
Hikari: "She will." Rosalia looks at me
Hikari: "Sure it's a higher floor but it doesn't mean all the floors are the same difficulty."
Rosalia: "Have you two been seduced by her, too?"
Hikari: "What do you mean? She's a kid and I'm a girl how is she going to seduce us?"
Rosalia: "Really now? Well from what I can see. you two are not very strong."
Hikari: 'Oh just you wait.' I hate players that underestimate others just by how they look alone
I nudged Kirito sending him a signal we should go
Kirito: "Let's go you guys." We left her and went inside the Inn not before I look behind us to see her and she's giving us a smiling look
Hikari: 'She's going to get what's coming anyway.' I shrugged
~At the Inn~
Silica: "Why is she so mean to me?"
Hikari: "Just don't mind her Silica instead of focusing on her you need to focus on how to save Pina." I gave her a reassuring smile
Silica: "You're right." She went back to her cheerful self after that Kirito ask both of us a question
Kirito: "Is SAO the first MMO you guys played?"
Hikari: "No I've played lots of MMOs before so I expected there would be some players like this when I first dived into the game." He then turns to Silica
Silica: "Yes its's my first time."
Kirito: "Regardless of the game, many players act differently online. Amongst them, some choose to act as villains. See how our player indicators are green?" Silica both look at our green cursers Kirito was in front of her while I was beside her
Kirito: "If you commit a crime, your indicator will turn orange." He looks at me saying that I should explain the rest
Hikari: "Just as Kirito said if you commit a crime you will become an orange player but if you kill someone while still being orange your indicator will turn red and people with red indicators are not fun. Because they love killing players they are known as "red players"
Silica: "Killing players?!" She was shocked by hearing this information
Kirito: "In a normal game, you could find entertainment in playing as a villain."
Hikari: "But what we're playing right now isn't just a game isn't it?" Kirito nods
Kirito: "Sword Art Online can't be treated the same way." he gripped the glass tightly
Kirito: "This world isn't all fun and games."
Hikari: 'Here is the part come on Silica you know what to do.' I smiled internally since Silica likes Kirito
Silica: "Kirito-san..." Kirito snapped back into reality and relaxed
Kirito: "Sorry."
Hikari: 'Here it comes.'
Silica: "Hikari-san, Kirito-san you guys are a good person! after all, you two saved me back in that forest!" My jaw dropped she wasn't holding his hands and she's including me too?!
Hikari: 'Why isn't she doing it? this is my favorite part where Silica gets embarrassed.'
Hikari: 'Is it because I got involve with this episode? if so then I'm definitely not going to the meeting next episode.'
Hikari: "Why did you include me? sure I saved you but Kirito was pretending not to pay attention so he could lure me out. He would have saved you either way." I was trying so hard to push Silica to like Kirito...
But it failed
Silica: "Even so! You were watching the whole time to make sure I was safe!" She went close to my face
Silica: "That just proves you are a good person!"
Hikari: "I guess your right Thanks Silica." I smiled at her but...
Hikari: 'I'm not a good person Silica I would have saved Pina but I just stood there and watch.'
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I saw Silicas face was red
~Silica POV~
Silica: 'Too close I was too close to her face.' I didn't realize the two of us were close to each other after I said all that
Hikari: "Uhh you okay Silica?" I freaked out a bit and tried to calm myself
Silica: "I-I'm fine umm. Huh? I wonder why our cheesecake isn't here yet. Excuse me! We're still waiting for our dessert!"
~Silicas Room~
I laid down on my bed
Silica: "I wanted to talk to her more... But I didn't want her to hate me."
I then heard a knock on the door
Kirito: "Silica-chan. I forgot to tell you about the 47th floor and Hikari is with me so I could tell her also."
Silica: 'They're Here?!'
Kirito: "Would tomorrow be better?"
Silica: "Now's fine. You guys are in a perfe-" I realize I wasn't wearing any clothes so I quickly open the menu and put some clothes on
~About a minute later~
Silica: 'That was close'
~Hikari POV~
Kirito was setting up the table and I saw Silica beside me being flustered
Hikari: 'She definitely forgot to put her clothes on when she was going to open the door'
Kirito: "Silica, something wrong?" she shakes her head
Silica: "No, don't mind me."
Hikari: "Cute." I muttered
Unbeknownst to Hikari. Silica heard it and she got even redder than a tomato
Silica: " U-Umm Kirito-san, what's that."
Kirito: "It's called a Mirage Sphere." He clicked the button and it showed the map of the 47th Floor
Silica: "It's beautiful!"
Kirito: "This part is the 47th Floor's town area." He then showed us the location of the Hill of Memories
Hikari: 'Great somebody is eavesdropping on us.' I didn't say anything since Kirito will find out in a sec
Kirito: "And over here is the Hill of Memories. So this is the route we'll be taking..." He stops and Silca was confused
Silica: "Kirito-" I shushed her by putting my finger in her lips to stop her from talking and gave the signal to Kirito to go
Once again unbeknownst to her Silica was blushing a bit when her finger touched her lips
Kirito then runs to open the door
Kirito: "Who's there?" He saw someone running but couldn't see who it was
Silica: "What was that?"
Hikari: "Someone was eavesdropping on us." I came behind them Silica looks at me
Silica: "B-But sounds are supposed to be inaudible across doors unless you knock..." We went back inside
Hikari: "That person probably has a high enough Hearing skill."
Kirito: "Although not many would bother to do that though." Finishing my sentence
Silica: "Why would they eavesdrop on us?" The three of us look back at the door
Hikari: 'Well it all godowns tomorrow.' We then continued where we left off
February 24th, 2024 - 47th Floor: Florin
After arriving Silica with her new clothes was beyond amazed at how it looked
Silica: "This looks like someplace from a fairytale."
Kirito: "This floor is known as the Flower Garden because it's nearly covered by them."
Hikari: "It's kinda obvious I mean with this many flowers here it just screams the name "I'm a Flower Garden""
Silica was checking out the flowers with her happy usual face
Hikari: 'She reminds me of when I was at the bridge admiring the view...'
Hikari: 'This floor might be a good place to sit and read a book I might do that later after this.'
~Silica POV~
I was looking at the flowers when a bumblebee came and fly away but when I realize the people who were on this floor
Silica: 'Th-This place is...'
My face got red
Kirito: "Silica?"
Silica: "Oh, yes! Sorry to keep you waiting."
Kirito: "You okay?"
Silica: "Oh, I'm just fine..."
Kirito: "Oh okay, Hikari we're going now."
Hikari: "Be right there!"
I looked at Hikari and she was looking around the garden
When I saw her face I can feel my cheeks getting warm
Silica: 'I'm so glad there's three of us...'
~Hikari POV~
When we were just about to go to the fields Kirito hands out a teleport crystal to Silica
Silica: "This is..."
Kirito: "If things get dangerous and I tell you to run, be sure to use this crystal to teleport away to a town."
Silica: "But..."
Kirito: "Promise me." He gets serious
Silica: "I understand." She takes the crystal from his hands
Kirito: "Then let's get going." He starts walking off
Hikari: "I'm sorry if he's like that Silica he just doesn't want the worst-case scenario to happen."
Silica: "No I understand why."
Hikari: "Aww don't be sad you have nothing to worry about since the two of us will protect you."
Silica: "Really?"
Hikari: "Yep! And that's a promise!" I then see Silica smile again
Hikari: "Anyway we shouldn't keep Kirito waiting now could we?" Silica nods
Kirito: "If we follow this path, we'll reach the hill of memories."
Hikari: 'I've got to say this really is a good place to read a book if only..'
Silica: "Um Kirito-san..." Before she could finish a Giant Venus Fly Trap uses its tentacles to grab Silica and making her go right on top of it
Hikari: 'There weren't any enemies here this place would be perfect.'
Her skirt was going to go down but Silica held it up
Silica was scared out of her mind and started to freak out
Kirito: "Calm down, Silica! This monster's just a fodder!"
Hikari: "Kirito how's she going to calm down when she saw that enemy? I'm not going to lie that enemy is disgusting."
Kirito: "Ahaha... Right."
Silica: "Hi-Hikari-san, Kirito-san, save me! Save me with your eyes closed!" She said while swinging her blade at nothing and holding her skirt up
Hikari: "Wait why? Aren't we both girls?"
Silica: "Just please don't look!"
Hikari: "O-Okay..." I started covering my eyes
Hikari: "Kirito can you do the job? I mean your better at hitting your hits without looking."
Kirito: "That would be.... Still pretty tough though" while leaving one of his eyes open
Hikari: "Hey no looking." I started covering his eye with mine
Kirito: "But what about Sili-" I cut him off
Hikari: "She's fine just give her a second."
Silica: "Y-You pollen brain!" She cut both of its tentacles and stabbed it at the vital part disintegrating the enemy instantly
Silica: "Did you guys see?" She ask us with a bit of sadness on her face
Hikari: "Nope we didn't see anything." I said while covering mine and Kirito's eyes
Silica sighed in relief that nobody saw what's under her skirt
We then continued on
Silica: "Kirito-san, would you mind telling me about your sister?"
Kirito: "Why do you ask?"
Silica: "Remember how you told me I look like her? I know it's impolite to ask about the real world... Am I prying too much?"
Kirito: "I said she's my little sister. But she's actually my cousin." Silica was surprise a bit while I just continued listening
Kirito: "We've always lived together, so I don't think she knows."
Hikari: 'Yeah about that...'
Kirito: "Maybe that's why... I've always distanced myself from her. Our grandfather is a strict man. When I was eight, he had is join a local kendo dojo, but I quit after two years. My grandfather beat me for it."
Silica: "That's horrible."
Hikari: "At least he didn't constantly beat you up Kirito like mine was." I muttered
Kirito: "What was that Hikari?"
Hikari: "Oh, nothing continue on."
~Silica POV~
Silica: 'D-Did that mean she was constantly beaten up by a family member?' I widened my eyes when I heard her say that
~Hikari POV~
Kirito: "Right. Then, my sister defended me. Telling him to stop because she'd practice enough for the both of us. Since then she trained hard and even made it to the nationals."
Silica: "That's amazing!"
Hikari: "Yeah it is I mean going to the national is no easy feat so she must be really skilled at kendo."
Kirito: "However, I've always felt guilty for it. She could have had other things she wanted to do and cursed me for stealing her freedom." She looks at Silica
Kirito: "Perhaps saving you was like an act of atonement. I'm sorry."
Silica: "I don't think your sister regrets her decision at all. It's impossible to work hard for something you don't enjoy. I'm sure she really loves kendo!"
Hikari: "She's right you know?" I put my hand on Kirito's shoulder
Hikari: "And if it was true she cursed you for stealing her freedom why did she defend you in the first place?" He looks at me
Hikari: "It seems to me she really cares for you and would do anything to protect you from harm"
Kirito: "You guys... I feel like you two are helping me instead of me helping you two. Maybe you guys are right. I hope so." I and Silica both smiled at each other
Hikari: "Hey guys I'll go on ahead and clear the remaining enemies around this area so you guys can just walk. I'll come back to you guys once I'm done."
Kirito: "Sure good luck."
Silica: "Really?"
Hikari: "Don't worry I'll just clear the path so it would be easier for you guys."
Silica: "Okay." The two waved at me and I went ahead
Hikari: "Time to kill some enemies."
~Silica POV~
Silica: "Um Kirito-san how did you and Hikari-san meet?"
Kirito: "Why do you wanna know?"
Silica: "Well remember when you two saved me? you seemed to know Hikari pretty well so I was asking if you guys met each other already."
Kirito: "Well she helped me back on the first floor and she helped me multiple times to the point where I'm the one asking her favors. I tried to repay her but she refuse to accept it and she's really kind and caring when somebody needs help even if it doesn't look like it."
Silica: "She really is a nice person..."
Kirito: "However... I just feel like deep inside her I feel like she suffered a lot." My eyes widened
"At least he didn't constantly beat you up like mine was."
Silica: 'So was it really true?'
Kirito: "The real reason why I wanted her to come with us in the first place was so that suffering inside her would go away. But I don't know maybe if we work hard enough maybe it will."
Silica: "You're right and that means I need to get stronger too!" I was determined till...
~Hikari POV~
I was heading back to Kirito and Silica when I heard her screaming
Hikari: 'Ah I forgot.' I rushed to the two and took my dagger out
Silica: "Hi-Hikari-san, Kirito-san!" I sliced the disgusting enemy disintegrating it and thus releasing her.
Hikari: 'Seriously why are the enemies here disgusting?' I checked on Silica to see if she's alright
Hikari: "You alright Silica? Sorry, I didn't know there was an enemy here." I took out my hand for her to grab
Silica: "Ahehe Ah!" She hid her skirt before taking my hand to stand up
Hikari: 'Is she kind of afraid? I mean I guess I can understand why she doesn't want anybody seeing her undergarments even if it's the same gender'
Silica: "Ah yeah I'm fine to thank you for saving me."
Hikari: "No problem."
Kirito: "So what happened?"
Hikari: "Oh we are already near the Hill of Memories it's just a few minutes' walk."
Silica: "Really! Then let's go!" We all started walking again
~A few minutes~
After walking a while we finally reached the Hill of Memories
Silica: "Is this where the flower is?"
Kirito: "Yeah, should be." He then pointed to it
Once Silica got near to it a Pneuma Flower bloomed in the presence of a Beast Tamer
Hikari: "Well? What are you waiting for go ahead and take it." Silica then takes the flower
Silica: "I can resurrect Pina with this, right?"
Kirito: "Yeah."
Silica: "Thank goodness..."
Kirito: "But there are a lot of strong monsters lurking around here, so let's wait until we're back in town. Pina would probably prefer that, too."
Silica: "Okay!"
Hikari: "So? Why are we still here? Let's go and revive Pina"
We were walking back to town and once we were at the bridge I sent a signal to Kirito about players hiding behind the tree in front of us and he noticed it as well so I stopped Silica from going any further by holding her arm and Silica seems to ask why I did that
Silica: "Hikari-san? Kirito-san?"
Kirito: "Whoever's hiding back there, come out now." After a few seconds, Rosalia came out of her hiding spot
Silica: "Ro-Rosalia-san?"
Rosalia: "If you two are able to see through my Hiding skill, both of your Detection skills must be quite advanced."
Rosalia: "And it looks like you managed to get the Pneuma Flower. Congrats. Now... fork it over."
Silica: " Wh-Why should I do that?"
Hikari: "How about no?" I made sure Silica was behind me and I sent Kirito a look that says "Can you deal with this?" and he responded with a nod and he walked in front of us
Kirito: "Not on my watch, Rosalia-san. Or rather, the leader of the orange guild, Titan's Hand."
Silica: "But her indicator's green!"
Hikari: "Silica if you've played a lot of MMOs like me and Kirito you would know that there will be players pretending to be the good guys and lure other players to the killing group to obtain their loot." Kirito nods
Kirito: "The guy who eavesdropped on us yesterday was one of your men, right?"
Silica: "Then she partied with me for those two weeks because..."
Rosalia: "That's right. I was assessing the strength of each party member and waiting for them to accumulate more money." She licked her lips
Hikari: 'Disgusting.'
Rosalia: "It was regrettable that you, my most anticipated prey, left the party. But then you told me that you were going after a rare item. Yet, despite knowing all of this, you two still stick with her. Are you two retarded? Or have you two really been seduced by her?"
Hikari: "What did you expect? Back in the town when we left I saw you giving us a suspicious look so obviously you're going to try and do something so I stayed with her. But I'm pretty this guy right here has a different reason."
Kirito: "She's right I have an entirely different reason. I've actually been searching for you, Rosalia-san."
Rosalia: "What nonsense are you spouting?"
Kirito: "You assaulted a guild called "Silver Flags" ten days ago, didn't you? Four members were killed, leaving only the leader alive."
Rosalia: "Oh, I remember those hobos." She said with no care in the world
Kirito: "Their leader went to the plaza near the teleport Gate at the front lines and camped there all day and night, begging for someone to avenge his friends. But rather than wishing death upon your guild, he only asks that you guys be thrown into prison. Can you understand how he must have felt?"
Rosalia: "Of course not. He sounds like an idiot for taking it so seriously. It's not like it's been proved that death applies in the real world, too."
Hikari: 'Is she stupid? Kayaba proved it already when this death game began.'
Rosalia: "Besides, you don't have the luxury to be worrying about others right now." She snapped her fingers calling the other members who have an orange indicator above their heads
Silica: "Hikari-san, Kirito-san, there are too many of them! Let's get out of here!"
Kirito: "Don't worry. Stand back and ready the crystal in case I tell you to run and Hikari could protect Silica?"
Hikari: "Of course go get them!" He then starts walking to them
Silica: "Okay. B-But... Kirito-san!" Once she shouted his name the members of the orange guild had a worried look
Hikari: 'Here comes the fun part.'
Orange Player 1: "Kirito?"
Green Player 1: "Black clothes... A shieldless, one-handed sword user. He looks like... The Black Swordsman."
Green Player 1: "Rosalia-san, this guy's... a beater that survives in the front lines, all by himself. He's one of the two solo players who's part of the clearing group!"
Hikari: 'Ah right I completely forgot that we're the only two solo players in the Assault Team'
Silica: "Clearing group?" She looks at me expecting an explanation but I just shrugged
Rosalia: "There's no way someone from the clearing group would be here!"
Hikari: 'Seriously? Just because we are a higher level doesn't mean we aren't allowed to go down to the lower floors.'
Rosalia: "Come on, cut him down and loot his dead body!" They all get ready to use their sword skills and attacked Kirito
Oranger Player 3: "Die!" They all attacked him and Kirito just stands there doing nothing and Rosalia is smiling expecting she would win
I saw Silica slowly grabbing her dagger in an attempt to save him
Silica: "We have to save him..."
I petted her head for her to relax and told her it's all fine
Hikari: "It's okay Silica just watch closely on his HP bar." Silica then sees Kirito HP regenerating
Silica: "What's going on?" she relaxed a bit but was still concerned
Hikari: "See it's all fine so relax."
After a few seconds, they all got tired and stopped to see Kirito still standing doing nothing
Rosalia: "What are you punks doing?! Kill him already!"
Hikari: 'Yeah good luck with that.'
Kirito: "Around 400 damage every ten seconds, huh? That's the damage output that the seven of you can muster." Rosalia was getting angrier and I was loving every second of it.
Kirito: "I'm Level 78. I have 14,500 HP. The health regeneration effect of my Battle Healing skill restores 600 HP every ten seconds. You guys can hack at me all day and it wouldn't do a thing.
Orange Player 3: "Is that even possible?"
Kirito: "It is. A mere increase in numbers can create a ridiculous gap in strength. That's the unfair reality of an MMORPG leveling system." He then takes out a Teleport Crystal
Kirito: "My client spent every penny he had to buy this. A teleport crystal. The teleport point's been set to the prison area. That's where you'll all be going!"
Rosalia: "Your indicator will turn orange if you attack me, a green play-" She gets cut off when Kirito dashed right in front of her putting his sword at her neck. She looks at him and Kirito has a serious look
Kirito: "Remember, I'm a solo player. Having an orange indicator for a day or two means nothing to me." Rosalia then releases her weapon signify she gives up
Hikari: "Finally you're done."
~Silicas Room~
Kirito: "Sorry, Silica... I ended up using you as bait I thought you'd be scared if I was straight with you. And you too Hikari I could have told you but I kept it to myself." we both shook our heads
Hikari: "No I don't mind besides you arrested the orange guild so it's all good." I mean I already know it anyway
Silica: "You're a good person and you saved me so I would've trusted you." Silica then had a sad face
Silica: "Are you leaving now?"
Kirito: "Yeah, I've been away from the front lines for five days now. I need to hurry especially you Hikari."
Hikari: "Ack!" I was hoping he didn't mention my name
Silica: "Huh Hikari has to go too?"
Kirito: "Yeah remember when they said I was one of the two solo players in the clearing group? well, she's the other one."
Silica: "Really!?"
Hikari: "Did you really have to expose me like that Kirito?"
Kirito: "She deserves to know Hikari."
Hikari: "I guess your right sorry Silica. I just didn't want to have any unnecessary attention on me."
Silica: "No I understand. The clearing group is pretty amazing, huh? No matter how many years I train I'll never be able to join it. Um. I-"
Hikari: "Silica the levels are just numbers sure we may be strong in this world but remember this is just a game in the real world were really weak."
Kirito: "She's right there are more important things. Such as."
Hikari&Kirito: "Meeting the real world."
Hikari: "When we do we're going to be the same as of right now just three friends hanging out."
Silica: "Right. I'm sure we will!" Looks like it worked shes happy now
Hikari: "Now, what are we waiting? for let's revive Pina!"
Silica: "Yeah!" She takes the Pneuma Flower and Pina's Heart out of her item list and she slowly made the flower drop a single waterdrop unto Pina's heart making it glow signifying Pina is being revived
I looked at her face and she seems really happy
Hikari: "Thanks Kirito I needed this." I whispered to him
Kirito: "No problem it's the least I could do after you helped me a bunch of times." He whispered back
Hikari: 'Well time to wait for the next episode to begin.'
