Chapitre 40: His brother

When Beatrix came downstairs after taking her shower she saw Damien in the kitchen deep in thought.

"Damien, what are you doing here? Have you recovered enough to cook?"

Damien grinned at her and nodded, "Yeah I know you missed my cooking these past few days. Tell me what do you want to have for breakfast?"

He said in a playful voice.

Blushing slightly, Beatrix replied, "I don't know you're the chef. Surprise me?".

"Alright sit and observe. A good student must always pay attention."

In one swift movement, he lifted her off the ground, placing her on the countertop.

Beatrix watched with interest as Damien glided across the kitchen, opening the cabinets and fishing out different spices. 

"So what is Chef Niarchos preparing today" 

Beatrix questioned. 

"Of course for his beautiful fiancé."

"Beautiful fiancé, huh?" Damien said, a smile gracing his lips. "Yup." Beatrix nodded.
