Chapitre 53: Perfect Bride

"This smells amazing Damien." Beatrix said as Damien pulled a chair for her.

"Thank you. Because it's late I prepared rice and stir fry. I hope you like it."

Beatrix sat down and smiled at him, "You know I love everything you make."

Damien sat beside her and poured her a glass of wine. 

Rhys appeared in the dinner room and moved to her side, his hand meeting her thigh under the table as soon as he settled in the chair next to her , making her slightly squirm when his hands skimmed the edges of her dress. 

"It's been so long since you ate a meal prepared by me." Damien said, filling Rhys' plate with food. 

"Hmm." He hummed in agreement.

"I miss your cooking." Rhys confessed, relaxing against his chair. 

 Beatrix's head automatically turned to sneak a glance at him who was looking smug.

Damien smiled at his brother and ruffled his hair.

"Well now that you're back home I will try to cook for you as much as I can."
