Vice regretted his decision to come along the moment he put on that fucking white jumpsuit. Instead of a nursing uniform, in his opinion it looked more like something a person being held against their will in a mental institute might wear. 

Which did not bode well for him and Davi.

But Davi was never one to notice those kinds of subtleties. He was as blunt as a kick to the nuts.

To say nothing of the terrible conversation in the elevator.

If he wasn't sure that Lucas Yoric, the greedy bastard, really wanted his late husband's money, Vice would think they were walking into a trap.

Half of him still thought he should have told Davi to figure things out on his own.

He hadn't yet fully convinced himself that it was safer this way.

If Éder was keeping an eye on him, then being seen in Davi's presence would make it seem like he was complying with his orders.
