"You-" He Gun started as the youth looked around himself with a disdained huff, then sat down on the creaky chair by the window, blinking up at him expectantly.

He Gun brushed away the remnants of surprise, his dark brows tightening.

"Who are you?"

And why are you in here, ruining my little suicide moment? He Gun bit down those words, the pile of fabric nestled tightly under his beefy arms.

"Your new roommate," Thanh Van said with a cutesy smile as he stared at the scruffy policeman before jutting his finger at the bed. "I call dibs on the bed."

"You need to leave," He Gun started, looping his thumb through his belt loop with an ever-darkening frown. His interrogation mode activated by itself. "Why are you not in your room but wandering around here?"

He Gun's gaze dropped on the golden hologram by Thanh Van's chest. His gaze widened briefly over the large number before his eyes thinned.
