Synopsis
After twenty years of the apocalypse, everyone had gradually adapted to the extreme environment and terrifying zombies. Some single men and women formed families together. Xu Ying was the product of one such family. She thought she was the only child in the family, but her father actually had two more sons. To end their hardship, her father decided to welcome them into his tiny safehouse that was less than 600 square feet. When her mother saw this happening, she also brought in her ex-husband, daughter, and daughter-in-law who could not take care of themselves.
That's how Xu Ying, the 'single' child ended up being forced to live in the bathroom! The family, which seemed happy on the outside, was broken once and for all. In the end, Xu Ying was kicked out of the house. She too decided to cut off all ties with them. Even if she starved to death or froze to death, she'd wander out there and never return.
To her surprise, she was bound to a landlady system on the first day she left home. She was directly gifted with a safety zone that spanned 30,000 square feet. While her scumbag parents and their family were still cramped up in a tiny house, Xu Ying was living comfortably in a large single-story property. She kept the place clean and comfortable. On top of that, she built one new house after another. When business was doing well, all of her units would be rented out. She could even pet cats and dogs. She also got to know a group of powerful tenants. It's practically a fairy tale. Did I suffer for the past eighteen years just to acquire all this today? She thought to herself.
"Honey, you forgot about me and left me outside the rental house!" Wei Qiyan exclaimed.

RAW PLEASE!! So far so good, would like to see how the story will develop. Not liking the background story though.
i like it following the logic of apocalypse genre the MC is to soft,like easily trusting and the story is a bit unrealistic but this is a book where you can write or read what ever you dreamed of and this book doesn't have a major scheming so much like other novels that the whole plot revolves around that major scheme and it doesn't hurt my heart when reading it and this is very relaxing apocalypse book I've read so far
This is so so fantasy story, it looks like they are coexisting with zombie just like how beast and human coexist in some fantasy story🙄🤔🤔
it's not chosen, this is the reason I got tired of reading stories on trial read because the ones you thought that will be chosen will not be picked but it's those ones that are less interesting that webnovel will rush and pick like a dog in heat 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I’m sad that this book didn’t get chosen. The books that did get chosen are the same types that have been appearing for months. I was so excited to finally have a unique story to read 😢.
This is a very good novel about Apocalypse, Main Character (a woman) gets thrown out by her parents, to be sacrificed, by chance she gets a system which gives her a house in safe zone , she can gradually improve the house and add rooms and additional facilities such as furnitures,food distributor, laundry machines,freezers, bathrooms etc. and can rent rooms to survivors needing them.

Apocalypse novel with a system? Sure it’s been done but not this kind! This is set after the start of the zombie apocalypse, 20 years after it in fact. So the FL is literally first gen after the fall of mankind which is wild. So we get to see an entirely different perspective and setting then the run of the mill “hoard and defend style” zombie apocalypse.

It only has 20 chapters at the moment but I’m already hooked. It’s something new after months of the same “multiple identity bigshot”. It’s the first novel in months to make me impatient for more chapters. I really hope this book gets chosen.
