Chapitre 298: Attempted Murder

Nothing prepared Elena for the shock she received learning about what happened to Chloe.

This was someone who was supposed to come over to her place to have lunch and relax yet in that time frame that would have been dedicated to it, something horrible happened to her.

In Elena's mind, she was thinking of that's how people died. 

Chloe would have been dead if Mark hadn't gotten to her at the time he arrived. And if she hadn't pushed her husband to go find her because of the unease she felt, they could have been hearing another story by now. 

Elena could not sit still, especially after hearing about how Chloe was still unconscious and how she was going to lose her child who was born prematurely. She wanted to go to the hospital to visit her.

"That bastard Yang Mingze has to be executed for attempted murder! He doesn't deserve pity and a third chance because he might actually end up killing someone the next time!"
