An S-class monster

When I was little, I often asked my father why I wasn’t allowed to play with other kids my age. My father always told me it was because I was too different. As a child, I really didn’t understand what he meant. Didn’t we all look the same? How were we different?

Now that I face vicious monsters and save innocent people from danger, I think I have come to understand what he meant.
Maybe I was always a bit different. I was always meant to be a hero who stood apart from the crowd.
As I look at the people who watch me on TV and admire me, I realize that although we live in the same world, we are really not alike.

They are able to live their normal lives, being protected and cared for while I go around every day fearing for my own life as I save theirs.

Don’t get me wrong, it is not the monsters I fear, it is the people whom I protect that scare me the most.
‘Cause one day, they’ll know the truth. One day, they’ll know that I’m not like them. That I’m different.

That I’m an S-class monster living behind the mask of a hero.
