Synopsis
Ariel Mackenzie is a tough and resilient woman who has always put her son, Jason, first, she could even go up the sky and pluck the moon for him.
But when the assassin organization she works for demands the head of Jason's father, Vincent, Ariel is faced with a difficult decision, should she risk her future relationship her child, or save it by not completing the mission, which has dire consequences.
Going back to her hometown did not only open up old wounds but it created new ones, secrets that were meant to be kept in the dark were brought to light, betrayals were made and and some relationships were broken.

I love this book it started with a funny note. the FL is so funny from the first chapter i was just laughing 😂😂
I have to say, I found the start pretty funny, especially the female lead's reactions. The story has an intriguing twist that keeps you eager to read the next chapter. ✨ All in all, things are looking good. I'm also hoping to see more povs, particularly from the male lead.[img=strong]

Read majority of the chapters so far in one go. Good work author. I skipped a few chapters in between. Felt like there’s either TMI or irrelevant expansion of chapters. Just a request, can you cut short Leo’s planning and Sabrina’s bitchiness? The thing is… every other novel on this platform has the same or similar plot. This story has a lot of potential of fun romance and passion but such cheap characters are dragging down the flow, barring the leads to explore their new roles as a married couple
