Chapitre 2: Chapter 2

In the early morning, as the first rays of sunlight shone on Juan's face through the glass window, he slowly opened his eyes.

Turning his head to the side, he noticed that Wanda was no longer beside him.

Putting on his pajamas, he left the bedroom and descended the spiraling golden European-style staircase to the ground floor. Soon, he heard the clinking sounds coming from the kitchen.

"Darling, you're awake. I'm making crispy potato pancakes for you. Just wait a moment!"

Wanda held a frying pan in one hand and a knife in the other as she peeked out from the kitchen.

"Thank you, but didn't you say you couldn't cook before? Wasn't it your brother who cooked at home?"

Juan keenly noticed the position of the kitchen trash can, where there seemed to be a few broken pieces of crockery.

As if sensing Juan's gaze, Wanda's fingers moved slightly, and the broken pieces of crockery swiftly hid behind the trash can.

"I consulted with my brother a few days ago and I feel like I've grasped the tricks of it."

Wanda lifted her chin slightly, showing a confident expression.

Juan, excellent, handsome, kind, gentle, and wealthy, while she was just an orphan filled with hatred, working at a convenience store.

She didn't know why Juan would be interested in her, persistently pursuing her for three years, making her feel what "true love" was again.

But she knew that her current happiness was a gift from God, and she must cherish it and fulfill her responsibilities as a wife.

So despite never being in the kitchen before, she had been asking her brother for cooking tips recently. Although there were always some minor accidents, this time she was confident she could succeed.

"Then I'll leave it to you!"

Juan smiled and gave Wanda an encouraging hug before going to freshen up.

Ten minutes later, Juan picked up a piece of crispy potato pancake with chopsticks, chewed it slowly, and then a strange expression appeared on his face.

"Darling, how is it?"

Wanda sat beside Juan, her eyes filled with anticipation.

"Very good. Even if this isn't the best crispy potato pancake I've ever had, it definitely ranks in the top three!"

Juan looked at Wanda, his tone firm.

Wanda's face immediately lit up with a brilliant smile, and she reached for the fork beside her.

"It's really that good, let me try."

"Wanda, I have a meeting soon and I'm running late. I'll eat this plate first."

Seeing this, Juan quickly used chopsticks to move the plate of crispy potato pancakes in front of himself.

Upon hearing Juan's words, Wanda didn't doubt and nodded happily.

Sure enough, after so many attempts, she finally succeeded once.

Looking at Wanda, who was staring at him with her chin resting on her hand, Juan took a deep breath and then With swift speed, Juan finished the plate of crispy potato pancakes in front of him.

"Wanda, I'm off to the office!"

Wiping his mouth, he gave Wanda a kiss on the forehead and quickly grabbed his briefcase, striding towards the door.

Meanwhile, Wanda waved sweetly to Juan, saying, "Darling, come back early tonight. I plan to make you Asturias stew, a new dish I've learned."

"Okay... sure."

Juan's figure hesitated for a moment, then he pushed the door and walked out.

"Hurry, Uncle Li, get me a bottle of water!"

Just as he got into the car, Juan quickly asked the driver, Uncle Li, for a bottle of water, then guzzled it down in one go.

"What's wrong, young master?"

Uncle Li looked at Juan, who drank so much water early in the morning, with a puzzled expression on his face.

Juan waved his hand, "It's nothing, just had something salty for breakfast. Let's go to the office!"

Wanda's potato pancakes were too salty, but in order not to discourage her enthusiasm for cooking, he pretended everything was fine and finished them.

To be honest, aside from being a bit salty, they were passable.

It's the thought that counts, and in terms of culinary skills, with more practice, she'll naturally improve, well... hopefully.

"Young master, we've found out who's been targeting our group behind the scenes lately. It's Bavi from Raymond Pharmaceuticals. How should we handle it?"

On the way, Uncle Li asked Juan, who was practicing breath control with closed eyes.

Juan slowly opened his eyes, "Tell Wu to take another trip to the sea to feed the fish."

In three years, the Lee family's enterprises had gone from a third-rate company to a top-notch one. It wasn't because Juan had any extraordinary business talent. As a martial artist who used to fight in the underworld, how could he know anything about business?

There were mainly two reasons.

Firstly, Juan would give some of the body-enhancing ointments and pills obtained from completing side tasks to some scientists in the company, who would then develop many popular new products.

Secondly, he was ruthless in his actions. When faced with rivals who liked to sabotage and engage in malicious competition, he never showed mercy.

Besides spending a large amount of money to hire assassins from the dark web, he sometimes took matters into his own hands and even trained a group of subordinates specifically to deal with such matters.

In the past three years, most of the people who opposed him ended up being thrown into the sea to feed the fish by his subordinates.

Of course, on the surface, he was the youngest genius entrepreneur in Sokovia and a recognized philanthropist. He established a charity foundation and helped many impoverished people whose families were broken due to war ten years ago, earning the love and admiration of the local people in Sokovia.

At the company, after handling all the affairs, Juan took a deep breath and, in his office, opened the virtual panel.

"It's time to enter the small world."

...

"Your Highness, it's time for lunch."

In a daze, Juan was awakened by a voice, and then a segment of memories that didn't belong to him flooded into his mind.

"Kinano, I got it."

Marukawa, twenty years old, the son of the deceased younger brother of the daimyo of the Fire Country, Prince of the Fire Country. In the Fire Country, he didn't have much authority, but his status was noble, and his family was quite wealthy.

This was the identity arranged for Juan after entering the Naruto world.

And the woman in front of him, named Kinano, was the steward of the prince's mansion, responsible for Juan's daily life and managing the entire prince's mansion.

He had just been sunbathing in the courtyard of the prince's mansion and had fallen asleep because it was so comfortable.

After eating a luxurious lunch served by Kinano and other servants, Juan instructed Kinano, "Prepare the horse. I'm going to the Fire Temple this afternoon."

Juan didn't come to the Naruto world to enjoy luxury. As a modern world tycoon, why would he need to enjoy luxury in this backward world?

He had only one purpose in coming to the Naruto world: to learn ninjutsu and become stronger.

Of course, if he could acquire some special techniques from this world and help expand his conglomerate when he returned to the main world, that would be nice too.

Within the Fire Country, there were two places where one could systematically learn ninjutsu. One was Konoha, the Village Hidden in the Leaves, the strongest ninja village, and the other was the Fire Temple, part of the Fire Country's Ninja Temple.

The inheritances of the Fire Temple were definitely inferior to those of Konoha. Currently, the strongest person in the temple was only the elite Jōnin level.

But it was safe there. There weren't as many dirty things going on as in Konoha, no Danzo Shimura or the Third Hokage, two old schemers. There were no major family feuds either. Moreover, with his identity as the Prince of the Fire Country, it was definitely the preferred choice to start learning ninjutsu.

Most importantly, even if he risked going to Konoha to learn ninjutsu, they wouldn't actually teach him those powerful techniques. At most, they would just give him some superficial teachings because of his status.

The relationship between Konoha and the Fire Country was not as harmonious as imagined.

"Yes, Your Highness!"

Although Kinano was somewhat surprised to hear Juan's order, she still nodded respectfully.

The prince was a reserved person who didn't like to socialize with others and rarely attended noble events. It was indeed somewhat unexpected for him to suddenly want to go to the Fire Temple outside the city. However, as a noble prince, he naturally had the right to go wherever he wanted. As a servant, she just needed to follow orders.

The prince's mansion had dedicated carriages and coachmen, so Juan soon boarded the luxurious carriage under Kinano's care, accompanied by a group of servants and samurai guards, and set off towards the direction of the Fire Temple.
