Synopsis
I would like to make it clear first that there will be absolutely NO romance in this story so don't ask for it because i will ignore those comments. also the alternate story starts from chapter sixty eight if you just want to skip the old short story.
No one ever expects to be reborn with a system despite the many tales of precisely that happening. alex certainly was no exception to this rule despite finding himself reborn into a world with monsters considered gods by some as a lowly gecko with a system.
The alternate story starts on chapter 68 in case you wish to skip to the part that is still continuing.

Don’t really ever post reviews, but seeing as live played every MH since the first one released in the US, I just have to say this is awesome! Please dont drop!
i dont get why people are so upset about the no romance part, I personally think that it's perfect as the MC will barely have an distractions from his goal. TBH i think romance ruins most stories, keep up the good work author
I had planned to read your story, or at least I had a curious click. but seeing your disclaimer made me cold, the fact that it's not about love intrigue. and besides, I didn't care, but now knowing (spoiler) that there won't be any, well I don't even want to read a line from your story. the spoiler kills
If you like monster mcs who just want to evolve but not have a human form and not have a romance, this is your novel. It was a pleasure to read it but I already know where the novel is going, that's why I'm leaving it.

The first part of the story is great. I suggest you read the stories first up up until the ending before the re-write or remake. forgot what chapter it was probably around 60+. The first story arc is good, its a monster reburned mc with the power to custom its own feature like what is was said in the title. The is quite intelligent and knows he is a monsters now and have to act different with how he interact with the people in town. I really enjoyed it, the second part of the re-write not so much. Mc is sooo beta he lost his flare and uniqueness, his no longer a monster on the second story, albeit physically he is, but more like a weak willed feeble creature than a dragon. TBH its not worth reading I'm struggling just to read a few more chapters past 100.
Honestly one of my favorite fan-fics right now. I love that the main character doesn’t have a human form and really sticks to his dragon persona the humans don’t over step their boundaries, like in most fan-fics with dragons, it’s a dragon why would you upset it? I love the story keep it up 👍

The first part of the story was the best. He acted for himself and did everything he did for those selfish reasons. But coming to the second part, he became more humane. He started caring even if there was no reason to. As the author started, he should be more monstrous as story goes on. but the 2nd part totally ruined that and it made me unable to read past 160 chaps. As I said the first part was good. That is the reason for this review anyways.

World is monster hunter and insanely good system just like custom made demon king and his personality is decently smart and not dumb like other mcs. Updates every day so far. Pls no drop
Writing quality is mostly fine. Updates are also fine. The start of the story is interesting, but I'm not a big fan of him becoming a mascot in the town and hanging around with humans. Feels like every generic monster mc. Speaking of generic mc, so far he's lacking in personality. Closer to a dog than a monster with a human's mind type of personality . Big fan of the monster hunter world, well, world, although never played the games, the idea itself is nice.
Great storyline that is easy to follow. I did not notice any errors in the letter. Gradual character development. Background of the world: 4/5. Update: 5/5. Beautiful Author: 5/5 Verdict: Great story! Continue in the same spirit!

bro this is a gem, good writing quality and world background is good despite me not knowing barely anything about monster hunter. characters feel real which is amazing and awesome. update stability feels constant? (im unsure atm).
MC has a system something like Custom made Demon king but in the Monster Hunter verse. Very good writing and overall very addicting to read 10/10
