Synopsis
Xia Lihua was born with a beautiful voice. A voice as sweet as hers was hard to find. She used to be her cousin sister's shadow singer.
Her family exiled her to the United States when she was set up by her cousin sister and stepsister. She returned to her own country after completing high school in America only to discover her father had given orders for some guys to murder her. After narrowly escaping death, she was saved by a friend who rushed her to the hospital and with the help of a genius hacker she was able to eventually escape from the country, hiding in Milan for two years. Except for her grandfather who doted on her, the rest of the Xia family assumed that she was dead. After three years, she returned, stronger than ever, to face-slap the scumbags and exact retribution. She is now the nation's sister- a top idol and a movie queen. She is also known as the Ice Empress in business world!
People called her the Nightingale because of her melodic voice, little did she know that she will be become the night songstress of the man whom she hated the most.

An amazing read. English is very good and easy to understand even if it's your 2nd language and no grammer mistakes that i found. The author has great humour The characters are colourful and not mechanic. i like it. Though it will be rather good if the villain or even side villains and are not cliche. But it's just such a minor issue that other good factors make it obsolete. Character development is great. I just can't wait for what will happen in the future chapters. Constant updates everyday are just like honey. And If you ever love face-Slapping and romance in one piece, then this book is definitely your cup of tea. This book has everything a reader might ever need, leaving nothing more to be desired! A perfect piece. Yeah, basically iam hooked. hahaha
this novel is AMAZING. From the plot to the characterisation, everything is gripping from the start. The pacing neither feels too quick or too slow, its just the right amount ,, and the characters? i love themm??! the sexual tension between them>> the suspenseful and gripping plot is perfectly balanced and holds the readers' interest. Take Yang to realize the whole truth of Lihua and her past and with him i dont Lihua to suffer no more i just wants her to be happy Pretty please write a scene with both of them on the cemetery sharing a bittersweet moment
I adore how the character's internal conflict and lies are set. The goal of the story indirectly tells it to you as you read it, and I like it. Even though I'm not used to Chinese names, the characters are entertaining, and their dialogues are unique and alive. They're well-plotted since the start of the story by hinting their flaws and goals. In structure, you can easily fix the long paragraphs by slicing it into two/three sentences. I just have a comment on the worldbuilding. Like on the second scene where the idol walks down the stage. I'll be easily misinterpreted without including that she's heading backstage. You can also describe what the dressing room and the house looks like with descriptions like including 'hangered dresses in open closets,' or 'huge mirrors reflecting people's faces.' Overall, this is a recommended read for urban stories tagged CEO. I can tell that the author took effort in plotting the story to the point that she loved her characters.
It felt as if I was watching a movie and not reading a book, I'll continue reading more for more entertaining and juicy content🥰
I rarely gave a really good 5 stars review but this story deserve this. The story centers around a charismatic idol who unexpectedly finds herself entangled in the cutthroat business world. The characters in this story are incredibly lively, each with their distinct personalities and quirks, making them feel like real individuals you can easily connect with. The author has crafted a captivating story and deserve more recognition!!

This book is very good. honestly iIwas captivated by the fact our fl stands on her own 🫡😌 shes's smart, elegant, and cool headed. I like the drama that had been going on in the story and I'm hoping to reach the part where iIsee her enemies downfall .I'm already 40 aprts into the story and it hasn't disappointed me. I hope to read moereof this story .the author is an excellent writer!

Writing quality: Overall your verbiage isn't bad at all. You have an excellent understanding of language and how to structure sentences. That being said you add a little too many details, some things can be omitted and restructured so the sentences aren't repetitive and lengthy. In the first chapters, the song lyrics try to use '' around the lyrics to separate them from the non-dialogue parts. You can also split the lengthy paragraphs, and shorten some detailing as well :) Story development and Characters: I love the character's personalities and names, almost like a webtoon. Loving the plotline and looking forward to many many updates Overall great work!!!
This is my first time writing a book review. Generally, I refrain from leaving reviews but this author deserved it. It's hard to believe this is her first time writing cause it's so well-written and flaws are hard to find. I was amazed to learn that this is an original work and not a translation, especiallysince some scenes had that essence of typical chinese novels which I thoroughly enjoy. I couldn't resist binging all 35 chapters and now I am eagerly waiting for more. Hopefully this gem will be discovered by a wider audience
