Synopsis
"Did you really think that after all that you've done to me, I would simply let you go, Rosalie? You might as well go to the Devil himself because otherwise, I will definitely find you. No matter what."
One day, Wang Meiling, an ordinary office worker who likes to read romance fantasy books, wakes up in the body of Rosalie Ashter, a minor villainess in the R-rated fantasy novel that she was reading before this weird transmigration.
As expected of the plot, Rosalie is supposed to die at the hands of her crazy and abusive brother Raphael, thus, armed with the detailed knowledge of the original story, Meiling is set to save the tragic villainess whose body she is now possessing and approaches Duke Damien Dio, the story's male lead who is suffering from the "Acme fever" curse.
She offers him a one-year contract relationship, promising to help him relieve his suffering in exchange for his protection from the Ashter family and a hefty payment afterward.
Although skeptical at first, Damien agrees to sign the contract, but when the time finally comes for Rosalie to leave the Duke, she realizes that ending their relationship might not be as easy as she thought.

This is something I've been meaning to write for quite a while and finally decided to give this story a go even though I know that rofans are not particularly popular here. I'm giving myself 5 stars simply because I touched some grass and decided not to turn it into a reverse harem one.

Dear Author, I want to say that the first paragraph of your story in Chapter 1 was enough to get me sold and on board with your story. This story reminded me greatly of the anime "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" which is a good thing because I LOVE THAT SHOW. Hence, I LOVE THIS TOO <3 I am also envious of the beautiful way of writing smut. Please allow me to use your work as research material. Overall, this is a good read. It is amazing. YOU are amazing. I have not read this novel yet but somehow it ended up in my library. Maybe, it is calling for me to read it. I love that this novel is categorized as, "He falls first, but he falls harder." aint no way I'm gonna pass on that. I'm a sucker for obsessive male leads. Plus it said that this story contains snu snu.. haha as a Sm*t novel lover, I think this is a sign for me to read it. That's it, I'm gonna stop reviewing and read it already. To those waiting for signs before reading it, THIS IS THE SIGN! GO READ IT AS WELL.
I like the book and everything in it, but I feel like the author is describing things a bit too long so in one chapter you basically get a few actions and a lot of describing, like how they stand up how they sit down etc.. and because of this there are a lot of chapters and for me it’s a bit too expensive if I think about the fact that a whole book is cheaper than reading chapter after chapter. I downloaded the app for this book, even bought a membership but since you can only get coins by paying more I have to give up on this book! Little note to the author, Good work keep doing it sadly I couldn’t read your book but it’s really unique even tho it’s a general idea!🥰
I love this book The romance is developing fast I love the way the male lead take action ☺️ fast and how she shoot her shot

Just started reading like 10 minutes ago and I’m hooked. Wish I can read all chapters in one day but I’m gonna take it slow. Good job dear author yoojee
I feel a little strange leaving a review for the author I know irl, especially since we've worked together before on a different platform and she is actually a very good ML writer, but I feel like I kind of have to haha Already into 100+ chapters, the story has a very good flow and pacing. Every chapter leaves you wanting for more, but not in an annoying manner, yoojee knows how to write cliffhangers. The characters are amazing and well-written, the FL has a fantastic personality and still feels real and relatable. The tragic backstories of the main characters properly justify their actions and roles in the story. The plot itself is very interesting, the main idea behind the plot is something I've never seen before, so kudos for that too! Of course, some of the later chapters feel rather dry but the author explained why so I guess if you let it slide, you will not be disappointed by the further progression of the plot. All in all, a solid story with a decent amount of romance, adventure, human interactions, and, of course, mystery. If you are still having doubts about whether to read it or not, please give it a go, you will not regret it!
