I’m sorry, this probably doesn’t make sense. I dropped this novel because I didn’t like it so I made fun of it with an inside joke.

100% with you there, I feel the same way but I’ll still give stuff a chance since there are some great stories out there, it’s just there are often too many terrible imitations that a gem is often hard to find. If you haven’t already you should check out “I hate Systems” it’s a system novel with a different take, you might find it amusing. Thanks for looking out for me though. When I wrote the original comment I had probably just finished reading 10 terrible novels with the same setting but luckily it was just my misunderstanding for this novel as it doesn’t have this cliché, it’s a great read and I’ve paused at chapter 1250 or so, I’ll read the rest later.

That’s fine, chapters just feel super short making this battle extra drawn out with so many details being mentioned about this and that spell. I feel like 6 chapters should be merged together or it’s like nothing has happened at all. I’ll take a break reading this until I can binge.
AN: I had not planned the Besanc mission to last this long. But then I thought it'd be a suitable place to show the progress Eren's crew members had made over the months. Stating progress in passing and allowing characters to showcase the progress mid-battle are two different things after all.

What a weird increase in coins xD
In increments of ten levels, this coin reward increased according to these values: 150 (at level 20) - 225 (lvl 30) - 300 (lvl 40) - 500 (lvl 50) - 700 (lvl 60) - 1000 (lvl 70) - 2000 (lvl 80) - 2500 (lvl 90) - 4000 (lvl 100). Hopefully, this would give Aldrich enough coins to last as he did not start receiving coin drops from monsters in Trial Quests until the second one onwards.

I mean 10% chance of instant death is also op in a game
By striking the bracers together, Aldrich could release several skull shaped vengeful souls that sought out his enemies and dealt damage to them with a 10% chance to inflict instant death. The attack was utterly unavoidable without some kind of magic barrier with the spirits tracking and homing onto enemies, and the neat thing was that each spirit rolled the 10% instant death effect.
