I think that he can be saved by Minato if somehow Neji be able to join Anbu (to keep the secret) or become someone who valueable enough than his entire clan. I believe that Minato is capable to remove curse mark or overlap the mark with another seal.

this is just my opinion. Usually, the transmigrated always start with mastering [rasengan]. But if we think about it, it'll make him be suspicious if there's no one who teach him about it.
