First of all, perfect translation from a veteran translator. Sadly i just cant stand the mcs personality. I am of the opinion that when you are in rome, do as the romans do. When you are in a fantasy world, there are naturaly different values than in the 21st century earth. The author surrounds the mc with a bunch of shackles called “morals” that stunt the mc in both character development and power gain. And more often than not acts like a “holier than thou” hypocrit. The mc tends to not fight or compete with anyone unless they are completey evil in his perspective, wich is generaly not accepted in a cultivation world and makes him look like a absolute doormat from time to time. In a world where every cultivator is a mass murderer and often time wishing to harm the mc but the mc not willing to harm them back or rob them in any way because of his “morals” as he does not judge them as evil like the fiend clans is utterly ridiculous. While on the other hand the mc has absolutely no problem using threats or blackmail or killing some no name bandits who wont be able to harm him at all even if he where to let them beat on him for a year straight. To me, the so called “morals” are more a tool for the author to stop the inevitabel power creep a mc is expected to get in a system fanfic where the mc has foreknowledge and to fill up the mcs otherwise non existing personality. Overall, its a good story for wasting time. But only if you can stand a “empty” who is more driven by the author than a “real” character.
Whats the raw name?

The original story is good and the translation is naturaly easier to read compared to the raws. One big complaint to the translator tho - DONT add in or change a bunch of unnecessary things, as this makes the translation confusing at times and copletely inappopiate at others. The MC in the raws is much more calm and composed compared to the translation for example, many times replacing a ordinary suprise followed by a quick acceptance in the raws to a complete "shocked" and self doubt in the translation making the MC come over much more angsty and immature than he realy is. Or in the raws the MC mentioned "He truly didnt understand the way the people in the world worked" as in he is not yet familiar with the logic of middle-earth while in the translation it becomes "The logic of it escaped him". These 2 are completely different concepts as not understanding the people of a different world is something completely different as not understanding logic as a whole making the MC sound extremely stupid. These are just examples and they happened many times forming a completely different picture of the MC than the original author intended.

After having finaly finished reading this story i can confidently say that there is nothing “calm and tolerant” about the mc. While i do not know if this was the original authors intention or poor writing but i can only call the mc completely indifferent and at times even a complete doormat. And the so called morals that the mc likes to monologue about are even more ridiculous and hyporcrital in a world where almost everyone above 10 years old is either a murderer or a massmurderer. Many of the chapters in this story can even be completely skipped due to the mcs indifference and emptyness that feels like he is just going through the motions with no emotional feedback or opinion involved at all.
