Not to mention that many fans supported Haley and Dylam's canon relationship and THAT sure felt forced! Most works of fiction have really stopped caring about the realism of a romantic relationship, they just have a couple have a few cute moments on screen and then everyone around them NEVER stops talking about how they two are the best couple. And... that's it, it's over, they become the main couple!

For God's sake, DON'T FORGIVE HER FOR THIS! Whether this is Batman auditioning for the protagonist or not, what they did was utterly ridiculous. I'm tired of these preposterous excuses everyone makes for hot female characters simply because they ARE hot female characters (Selina, Harley, Yvy, Talia, etc). "They're not such ruins", "You don't know the circumstances that led to her der like this, she deserves chances to reform instead of going to prison to actually PAY for her crimes". THAT'S RIDICULOUS !!!!! The same goes for Batman. Even though he is the protagonist and the hero, this inflated sense of authority he has over everything and everyone is utterly absurd. And the characters currently say basically this "Yes, he spied on us, abused our trust and used this knowledge to manipulate our lives and those of our families... Do what, he's just being himself, he he he" . And they try to make it sound like it shows you as TRUSTWORTHY, like it's something to show off your strength of character. Completely absurd. I hope the MC has an objective perspective on all of this, not like the writers would have us believe in these forced excuses just to get more out of the story.

In my opinion this story is not perfect, but it is a good FANFIC (Remember that it is not a professional work). But, again, in my opinion, this story is much better than many "professional" works, in which the writers don't even dedicate themselves and just abuse the popularity of the verse to sell the comics (Marvel, DC, dammit, even the MCU movies and series are guilty of this, but to an EXTREMELY lesser degree than the comics)!
