She experiences now what she would experience a certain amount of seconds in the future. This isn't a fate based prediction. Otherwise she wouldn't be able to talk to him now?
Forcing himself to concentrate on the slender figure, Sunny silently emerged from the water and walked over to Cassie. He made no noise whatsoever, and yet, she turned her head slightly to face him.

Then why does anyone other than paragons fight the war?
A battle between paragons was cataclysmic. It wasn't an event that should be taken lightly; sectors could be flattened in a matter of seconds and billions of lives lost.

That move might injure civilians if they stared into the dazzling light, but it wouldn't kill them. The groans of many resounded in Eren's ears, but he continued with his next move. An idea for a max speed projectile: Imagine a giant tentacle whip where the end detaches at max speed. Basically a whip gun. A trebuchet is literally an inferior version to this. A whip is the mathematically most efficient way to turn kinetic energy of a big lever arm into speed of a short lever arm. A human could technically throw a rock faster than a bullet if he had the finesse and control to do this. With Sunny's giant, how many time over can he amplify this?
