Bab 32: 32

"As the Goddess of Magic, you will govern all magical aspects of our pantheon. I will share the power of Alpha and Omega with you in regard to Magical energies. I will still create spells as it seems fun though. If you agree I will place the Godhead of Magic for the," I flinch as I say the name of the pantheon, "Solar pantheon within you."

I thought Ciar would laugh but she seemed impressed, "I agree," she then says in a much lower tone, "You got domain over the whole solar system? You stronger than I thought, All-Father."

I had always assumed I could choose my own name for this role, but now I realize it is assigned based on one's strengths and abilities. As I transfer the godhead into Ciar, her already powerful nature barely shows any signs of change. Disappointed, I remind myself that physical appearances do not determine true strength.

Ciar's reaction to her newfound power is childlike glee, as she easily flies off her chair without the aid of magic or an item. Eve and I watch in confusion before laughter bubbles out of me.

But the moment quickly passes as I remember my mission to speak to the mutants about our new arrangement. I ask Lilly where Eric and Charles are located and learn that Eric has been by his daughter's side as she awaits her awakening, while Charles is currently at the school dealing with an influx of new mutants.

I request for Charles to come to the lab and head there myself, utilizing my ability to fly over the terrain of our island home. As I arrive, I see Charles leaving the school and entering the lab to find Eric tending to three holding tubes.

One contains Hope, slowly healing but with concerns for her damaged mind, due to her unique abilities no one is able to enter her mind to assist. Another holds Eric's unnamed daughter who he refuses to leave even for a moment, determined to look his best when she awakens he only leaves her side to freshen up. And finally, a small female clone of Wolverine was added to their collection just days before I attacked. We have been unable to contact Logan and he remains unaware of her existence.

"Good morning, Eric," I say as he enters the room. "Charles should be on his way. I have something quite important to discuss with the both of you."

Eric nods, acknowledging my words. "Morning Joel. Does this concern that creature that attacked your home? None of us could get close to help, I'm afraid."

As he speaks, Charles enters the room, a huge beast pushing him from behind. "Good morning, Eric and Joel," Charles greets us. "There has been a significant influx of mutants recently, yet strangely, the government remains ominously silent about it."

I shift uncomfortably in my seat, realizing that I haven't kept them fully informed about recent events. "Oh yes, there is that too. So much has happened so suddenly that I've had trouble keeping you guys in the loop," I confess. Taking a deep breath, I proceed to recount everything for them.

They are taken aback by news of the registration act, but when I assure them that a trusted mutant will handle it, they seem more at ease. However, I know that I will need to alter certain details to make things easier for myself. It's not really lying, just simplifying matters for my own benefit, or at least, that's how I justify it to myself.

"So that attack you mentioned...that was the Goddess Ammit. She sensed my power over death and came to take it," I reveal solemnly.

All three of them stare at me in disbelief.

"Yes, gods are real. Aliens are real too, a lot of things you may regard as myths are actually true," I explain matter-of-factly.

"Before facing Ammit, I was the God of Mutants (This is the part he is lying about, to avoid confusion). I came in an attempt to improve the situation for all mutants. And before you ask where I've been all this time, well...I only recently reincarnated."

"So you really are only sixteen years old in your most recent incarnation?" Eric asks incredulously.

"Yeah, and I only found out the truth about everything the night before I headed to Charles' school."

I pause for a moment before continuing. "Anyways, the battle and victory over Ammit increased my divinity massively. Previously, I had no Pantheon, I was just a lone god. But with this increase in power, I have surpassed the threshold to become an All-Father to my own divine pantheon."

I take a deep breath before revealing my next plan. "I have spoken with the Island, and she is willing to become my divine realm. And I would like mutants, if they choose to accept it would be called Solarians, to become my chosen people."

I let the weight of my words sink in before speaking again. Surprisingly, the Beast is the first to break the silence.

"Is that why I feel a strong sense of oppression when near you?" he asks curiously.

I replied matter-of-factly, "It's simply the difference in life force between us. Just like how a deer instinctively knows it could easily be preyed upon by a lioness, I am holding back my power quite a bit." I can't help but grin at his surprise.

"What would all this mean for mutants? Will we receive benefits like the Greeks did? Meaning nothing." Eric asks with a chuckle.

I smile knowingly before replying, "Oh, the Greeks were not a chosen race, Asguardians would be an example of a chosen race. As my chosen people living within my realm, you would naturally have access to certain advantages and opportunities. However, you are also free to leave at any time. Your bodies would be vastly improved, the level of improvement depending on whether you are a Citizen or an administrator/Soldier. There is even a chance, although quite low, for mutants to attain godhood within my pantheon. And for all mutants, their genes would be repaired and improved at the Citizen level, with even greater enhancements for those in higher positions." With that, I let them contemplate everything I have just revealed, knowing that it will take time for them to fully process everything.

"Eric, there is something I want you to consider. Depending on your views, your daughter is someone I am seriously considering for Godhood as her mutation would be vastly enhanced by it."

I can see the man wants to become defensive, but at the same time, he wants the best for his daughter, as any father would.

"You mentioned how we would get better bodies if we joined, what would she get apart from being a Goddess by name." he enquires.

"Complete domain over animals, the ability to draw on the powers of one, or many animals, as for her body, the normal for a God/Goddess of my pantheon, Immortality, Invulnerability, Energy Resistance, Regeneration, Superhuman Strength, Super-Leaping, Superhuman Stamina, Flight, Superhuman Speed, Self-Sustenance. Claws, Venomous and Extendable Claws, Enhanced Senses, Telescopic Vision." The list is long, and I feel inner pride watching their eyes widen as I continue listing them off.

After a moment Eric nods, "I will discuss it with her when she wakes." I nod, "Thanks."

"I will need an answer from the mutants soon though, I am fine with having an area set aside for mutants who want nothing to do with me, but as you might imagine this is not ideal and will lead to issues later. Once I activate my realm all those within it will be automatically made citizens. I would suggest before then we have a list of those who would like to perform other roles. I was considering Eric as a Military advisor, Hank as a Technological, Charles as an Administrative, Storm as an Educational, and Jean as Health care, and the Island is perfectly capable of handling edible plants and animals for various uses. Certain things would not longer be required except for visitors, you see even citizens would have perfect digestion, if you understand my meaning, and apart from wounds, illness should no longer be a concern, although never underestimate someone creating something directed to harm us." I am not fine with making room for mutants who do not want to follow me, that is why I made the subtle threat.

"Oh, she is free," space seems to warp as Ciar appears next to me hovering an inch above the ground in a new velvet green robe, the flowing design is adorned with intricate, swirling patterns that evoke the mystical symbols of Celtic lore. With a fitted bodice and flowing floor-sweeping hem. Considering she is no longer hiding her image the room goes quiet, even my jaw is on the floor.

Ciar looks at me mischievously, I can see the smirk in the corners of her lips then lightly coughs, breaking out of my fascination. "Yes, I would like to introduce you to all, The Goddess of Magic." I raise my brow question as I am unsure what name she has chosen to go by.

"I have chosen to go by the name I was originally given by the Celts, Morrigan," Ciar reveals. I do a double-take, Oh really?

Turning her head to me she adds, "I have explained everything to them, I have offered a tower on the Island and explained their goals would remain the same and I would stay their Supreme. Mordo was the first to agree."

"If you let the Island know your requirements for the Tower, I am sure as we have more Gods they would want an area to improve themselves. She can add it when I activate the realm."

Ciar nods and stands slightly behind me as I turn to face Eric, Charles, and Hank.
