Bab 95: Chapter 95: Sea Fun.
In the Marvel universe, radiation waste could give people superpowers. For example, Jessica who is jumping into the sea right now with her clothes on. A month ago, Ryan bring a nuclear bomb to be detonated at sea. Is that a safe decision?
Swimming underneath the floating platform, a 10-meter-long gray fish is wondering what the mechanism on top is? The fish just started to mutate, and in years to come, it will be as big as the Titanic. It senses vibration and quickly dives into the deep sea. It is just a young monster right now. Curious about everything.
When nothing attacked him, he swam slowly toward the source of the vibration.
*Splash* "Hey come in, the water is fine." Jessica yells to the group of girls while floating in the water. The monster is looking at the submerged half of Jessica's body. No one knows if he wonders what it is or how it tastes.
Skye is planning to jump too, but then her instinct is telling her that she is being watched. She looks around and there is nothing there. "Strange…" she mumbles.
The monster dived deep into the ocean at this time as he was spooked by something.
"What's wrong Skye?" Ava asks. Their conversation is interrupted as they hear someone yell.
"Hey what are you doing? There are kids here!" Trish is flabbergasted as Jessica decides to take off all her clothes.
" What? I don't have swimwear. It makes sense to swim in the nude." she smirks. The kids are all playing on the other side anyway. Khan and Gwen are approaching the group.
"Can we join?" Gwen asks. She is the only one on the ship who knows the relationship between Kai and Ryan is not as simple as they say it is.
"Of course. You are really pretty by the way. I am your fan," Skye says as she is smitten by the science angel who comes by. Ava and Gwen know each other, but they pretend like it is the first time they meet. Skye, Gwen, and Ava are jumping in the water together.
Trish is waiting by the edge of the platform. She is just enjoying the atmosphere without swimming. Khan approaches her and asks for a favor.
"Take your picture? Sure!" Trish grabs the phone that Khan gives to her. Khan is sitting cross-leg by the edge, trying to look sexy. She takes a normal picture, and then she wants to take a picture to send to her absent boyfriend.
"I need to make him regret it," She loosened the string on her back, and the bikini tension that was holding her chest from showing disappeared. She grabs her chest with her hand to not show her boobs. Before Trish could snap the sexy picture, the model disappears.
*Tonk* A plastic tube was thrown at her from afar and she fell into the sea. Ryan is satisfied seeing it hit. The children are here. He needs to keep things clean.
"What just happened?" Khan asks after she surfaces from the water. The ocean current had already taken her top, so she has to stay in the water until she gets a towel.
The two men are setting up for a barbecue before they jump into the water. The slightly older woman is helping them out. Sofia Corazon and Betty Ross are chopping up some onions.
Natasha wonders where the meat is during all of the preparation. She is only watching from afar as she is avoiding Ryan at the moment. She picks up a can of beer and joins the young girls playing at the sea.
May Parker is watching the kids with Lana Morales. The two women have the same vibe if looked at from afar. They are wearing upper swimwear and a long, split at the side skirt that covers up their bottom.
There is a small water park on the platform that uses distilled seawater. There is a slide, a water gun, and a kiddie pool. The younglings are playing together there. Peter is followed around by the young kids everywhere he goes. Miles, Arana, and Anya seem to be loving him very much.
"This isn't fair. Why are they not following me?" Ned asks defeatedly. He had tried everything. From giving them candies and playing with them. But all they want is to follow Peter.
"Give up Ned. I will be more popular than you in the future," the shy future spider says cockily to his best friend. Then, the kids and Peter are aiming their water guns at Ned.
"Peter this is unfair," Ned is trying to stop it, but Peter gives the order. 'Attack!!"
"All is fair in love and war Ned," Peter tries to be cool, but it shatters instantly as Ryan is picking up a gun and aims at him.
"That's true Harem-king, there is no rule in war!" Ryan and Ned counterattack, which Peter's side is at a disadvantage. Ryan attacks Peter directly on his forehead. Peter turned and ran away. The kids are following him while giggling.
May is looking at all of them lovingly. She joins the fight at first, but now she is resting as she can't catch up with the kids' energy.
"Excuse me miss, are you using your weaponry?" A polite, baritone voice asks May from behind. She turned back and she gulped seeing the eye candy. Kai, who had taken his shirt off, is joining the fight.
"N-No," May answered while stuttering. Lana chuckles seeing May's reaction. Kai took the gun and targeted Ned. "Thank you, Miss May. I will make sure to defend your child in the battle,"
Seeing May become embarrassed, Lana comforted her. " It's okay. Kai does that to people." Most people will swallow their saliva after seeing Kai's body. Others will choke on their word.
May and Lana are hitting it off. Sofia and Betty are approaching them as the prep work is over. All of them are watching the fight.
"Now, let's all target the one who still has his clothes on," Kai takes the lead. Even Ned turns against his ally.
"The BETRAYAL!" Ryan screamed out as he got attacked from all sides. His clothes are now soaking wet. The girl's eyes widened. Compared to Ryan, Kai is considered an exhibitionist. The woman finally saw the treasures hiding underneath Ryan's clothes.
He takes off the wet clothes and reveals his body which is no less inferior to Kai's. The woman swallows their saliva. Ryan notices their reaction and teases them. "a bunch of cougars…" He pretended to hide his body with his hand. The woman quickly snaps out of their blank state and becomes irksome instead.
"I wanted to shoot at you for a long time.." Betty Ross picked up a water gun.
" Even if you're my boss, that remark couldn't go unpunished" May too is picking up a gun.
"This is our first time meeting, but I too want to shoot you," Lana picks up a gun.
"What she said," Sofia also joins in.
Ryan is surrounded by all sides. There is only one choice left for him. He jumped into the sea.
"We won!!" Peter and Ned celebrated. Unknowingly, it turns from Peter and Ned fighting each other, to all of the fighting Ryan.
"HAHAHA" Kai guffawed loudly. The laughter attracted the other group who was playing at sea. All of them regrouped to start the barbeque. All of them except for Jessica who is nude. She is left behind at sea.
"Trish help meee!!" Jessica screams for her sister. Although Trish wanted to leave her there, she loves her sister too much. She throws a robe at Jessica, which she wears underwater before she leaves the sea.
Natasha approaches Kai and asks the question that has been bugging her. "Do we bring any food other than the vegetables?" No one on the ship is a vegetarian. She doesn't understand why there isn't any meat.
At this time, a 1-meter-long bluefin tuna was thrown onto the floating platform. Ryan is wearing a simple breathing apparatus that helps him in the sea. Once he dives in, he can cast the bubble head charm and acceleration magic to catch fish underwater.
If there is an Atlantean passing by, they will think he is one of them.
" KAI, IT'S 1-0, HAHAHA.." Ryan instigates before he dived back in. Kai is startled. They plan to compete in fishing today but now Ryan got a head start. Without saying anything, Kai jumps into the water.
Once inside, Ryan cast the bubble head charm on Kai. They communicate telepathically during all of this.
Ryan: I will go search for some crabs in the Russian sea.
Kai: I will search for some octopus here.
Ryan apparated away to the Sea of Okhotsk to catch some king crab. Once he found them, he put a bunch of them in a bag and apparated back to the North Pacific sea. By that time, Kai had already caught 3 giant octopuses. They brought back some abalone, some fish, crabs, lobsters, and many other fish products.
Gwen is suspicious when Ryan brings back the crabs. She knows these species don't live here. The lobsters too. She will have to investigate later.
In the sea, Kai is losing the game. So he decided to summon out his helper. There are two water-related companion beasts that he hatches before. A 20-meter-long silver sea serpent(youngling) and a weird-looking 1-meter-long blob of fish.
"Find me some food," He ordered the beasts. They split to go different ways and started hunting. The blob of fish is using a sonar attack to stun the fish before it brings it back to the master. The sea serpent is nowhere to be found, even after the hunt is over.
"It's a tie," The impartial judge, who is also the smartest person on the boat, decided. The kid who has an IQ of 257 is avoiding the glare from Ryan.
"How could it be a tie? It is clear that I will win.." Ryan is trying to overrule the judge. Peter then explains shyly…
"But…you bring back a lot of shellfish…minus the shell weight, there is only a little flesh…"
Gwen snickers at Ryan's back as he is stunned by the kid's decision. Kai and Ryan took charge of the barbeque. A full spread of food is arranged on a long picnic table. By the time they finished eating, it was almost nighttime. The sea starts to get dark. They couldn't see anything on the sea when the sun went down.
It has become eerily silent. *Boom* a ball of light is shot up to the sky. "THE FIREWORK IS STARTING"
They enjoyed seeing the fireworks before they were going to ride the boat home. Ryan and Gwen are holding hands while they are watching the fireworks. Khan and Betty Ross decided to break them up.
"Our boyfriend couldn't come, there is no reason for you to rub your relationship in our face."
Khan and Betty lead Gwen away. Ryan waved helplessly at Gwen as she kept looking back. She does want to enjoy the moment with Ryan. After she got his 'okay' signal, she spent some time with her besties drinking beer.
Kai is with Natasha at that time. The others are drinking on the sea platform while the two of them are drinking inside the boat. They are in the pantry of the boat. It is a tight space for them, but this is where Kai found her.
"Are you going to avoid him forever?" Kai asks as he drinks his beer. It is only a normal beer, so it is just like water to him. It cannot make him drunk at all.
"I don't want to talk about it…" Natasha whines. She is on her 12th can of beer as she starts to drink from the evening. She is now a little drunk.
"That's okay. Do you want another beer?" It is easier for Kai to reach the beer as he is closer to it. Natasha has other plans.
She gets up and tries to step over the sitting Kai to get to the beer. She wants to tease him at that time. While stepping over Kai's leg, she is facing him. Her chest is extremely near to his face. Kai turns over to face something else. However, at that time, the boat shook from the waves.
Natasha loses control and flops over on Kai's lap. "Sorry," she says as their faces are inches away from one another. Kai is flabbergasted. The position is not ideal for him.
She is basically straddling him. There aren't a lot of clothes in between, so both of them can feel everything. Natasha wanted to get up, but the boat shook again. They fall into the same spot, only this time, the boat is rocking them. It took a minute for the rocking to subside.
"Natasha, you can get off now," Kai said. He couldn't bear a third time.
"Are you sure?" Natasha is enjoying this, especially since she can feel a reaction.
"Get off," Kai rolls his eyes and stands up with her still sitting there and holding onto his neck. Her leg touches the ground as she reluctantly lets him go. While the atmosphere is heating up between them, a bucket of cold water is splashed onto it as they notice there is someone who saw the whole thing.
Frozen at the entrance to the pantry, Skye is still processing the sight of Natasha being on top of Kai. Her dad facepalmed. Natasha chuckles and finally is cheered up. She walks to the sea platform, where someone is waiting for her. Kai mumbles under his breath, "I'll kill that damn oversized fish"
"I wanna say I'm sorry," Ryan apologized sincerely to Natasha. He uses her as an argument topic before without caring about her feelings. It was unexpected for Natasha. She didn't think that he would apologize to her.
" You didn't say anything wrong," She tried to brush it off as she didn't want to talk about it. What Ryan did is enough for her.
"Still, I feel bad about it. You don't seem to want to talk, so how about I do something for you to bypass all the necessary procedures for forgiveness?"
Her eyes widened. It is a simple gesture, but it comes from Ryan. he is basically a human genie.
She could ask him to search for her sister, to give her millions of dollars and more.
" Can I ask for it later?" She tested the water. She wants to think about it first. When she gets back to life as an agent, the favor could come in handy.
"Sure… Here is my number. You can share it with Coulson, but not with Fury," He just makes a swiping gesture on his phone, and it was sent to Natasha's.
"If I use my favor, can I send it to Fury?" She asks teasingly. It is a very big loss if she uses it for that.
"... sure?" Ryan is a little flabbergasted. Natasha enjoyed his reaction. After a while, the fireworks ended. Ryan and his group go to their boat, while Kai and his group go back to his.
"Why is there a sealed memory in your mind palace Kai? What happened?" Ryan asks Kai telepathically. All of his body has a mind palace. It is from the book of Occlumency in the Harry Potter world. The memories are stored in the shape of a book, in which they exchange them with each other.
As a man needs his privacy, there is a sealed section on both of the clones' minds. It's for stuff like shaving something private, having a one-night stand(Dawn), and many other things. Ryan could enter the seal at any time, but he won't do that.
"What happens on the free water, stays here…" Kai replied. The doctor is checking his people before he goes back home. "Let's see, Skye, Natasha, Sofia and her kids, Lana and her kids, Trish and Ava who passed out drunk, that's all right?"
He forgot someone else. The forgotten passenger is now sleeping in the other ship's storage area as she goes there to drink. Ryan and Kai won't notice her until the next day.
Four hours later when all of the passengers had been escorted home, Ryan and Kai appeared back onto the floating platform.
There is another reason to do this meeting. If it's needed in the future, Kai and Ryan could help each other without people getting suspicious. Ryan also wanted to confirm a few things. Such as when Kai meets Gwen, will he fall in love with her?
But the theory that love is a biochemical reaction seems to be winning this time. Kai only feels that Gwen is a nice kid. It puzzled all of the split soul of Ryan Knight. Maybe it follows a person's heart. After all, a heart is a wild creature. That's why our ribs are cages.
"He finally catches it. He chases it for almost 10 hours." Kai said. His sea serpent seems to view the big fish as food and is trying hard to hunt it. But the fish is very cautious.
"I think it's Krago the sea monster. Although it is very small now." Ryan hypothesized. The sea serpent surfaces from the dark water and throws the 10-meter-long fish onto the floating platform.
Kai summoned him back after he praised him for a job well done. The sea serpent's companion form is a spear that can change its size at will. The maximum length is the length of the sea serpent.
Ryan is studying the creature. It seems that getting out of the water is okay. He then decided what to do with it.
"Even if it attacked a ship in the future, it only did that because of its instinct. And it also needed to sleep for a long time to complete its transformation. It will take a few years to sleep."
He bites his thumb and a drop of blood comes out.
"Are you sure you want to keep him?" Kai asks. He has some unfinished business with the fish. While running away, the fish lead the snake back to the boat and battle it out there. He is the one that causes the pantry incident.
"Why not? It seems smart. Give me a reason why I shouldn't keep it alive?" Ryan asks. Kai is silent. He couldn't say the reason. Ryan is like a lie detector.
Seeing that Kai isn't answering, Ryan draws a magic formation on the creature's head with his blood. The pigmentation on the creature is still not fully formed, but it shows signs that it will become dark purple in the future.
He cast an incantation, and the blood seeps into the creature's brain. Ryan and the creature are looking at each other. It seems that there is an understanding between them. He cast a levitation spell and drops the creature back into the ocean. When the time passes and the creature is awakened, he will come and visit the creature.
"Hey, you will go into a few months' retreat after this right?" Kai suddenly asks.
"Yeah…" Ryan is a little puzzled by the question. He needed time to digest the things he brought back from space. The Destroyer's research and the Jotun's research had been put off for a long time. A lot of things happened in a short time frame that he was a little overwhelmed.
"Didn't you say to Trish you will go on the show Trish Talk?"
Ryan facepalmed. He did promise it to her.
"I need to postpone it one more day. It's not like anything important will happen right?"
