"My immortal blanket could support the barrier dome. But it's still up to you guys to maintain the barrier." Theo spoke up to encourage the disciples too. 

It was understandable, the disciples weren't meant to go for war. They enrolled here to be alchemists, and yet now they need to face immortals! 

"Hey, don't be so hard on them. They succeed in making a linked barrier in just an hour! Remember when our first linked barrier took a week because our energy was clashing so bad?" 

The drunk elder also chimed in then slapped the mysterious elder's back several times.

And with that, the disciples took rest for ten minutes then began practicing again. 

Meanwhile the evil furball system was still choosing the best option to attack the protagonists. 

Let's say the little furball had no experience in fighting, so turning into a beast and attacking the protagonists has a very low chance.
