"Oh yes, Sharon is in love with Dominic, and Dominic's Mom made her believe she was meant for him. By the time I realized what was happening, I went to Lana and begged her to help Sharon see me. To free her from the hope of being with Dominic. She agreed and would've done it... but then Dominic killed her." 

"She turned rogue," Natalie reminded her. 

"If I'd have been there when she slipped into that state I could've pulled her back from it. I could've." No, she couldn't have – a wolf gone rogue was beyond all help. "But he executed her. Snapped her neck like she was a twig. I wanted to kill him, but just like Nix and Cole, I knew I couldn't take him." 

Her head swam again but she fought the pull of sleep. "Why stay?"
