Bab 27: Chapter 27: Mere Zoo Animal, Huh?
Inumaki and Panda stare at Mute and Naoya, both breathing heavily. Panda glances over at Inumaki before talking.
" Hey, let me fight Naoya. You can handle Gen. "
As soon as Panda said this he lunged toward Naoya throwing a kick. Naoya ducked as the kick sailed over his head. Naoya puts his hands behind his back and starts to easily dodge Panda's barrage of blows.
Naoya's feet slid across the floor after dodging one more punch before in a swift motion he slammed his palm onto Panda's forearm turning him into glass. Naoya slams his knee into the glass shattering it. Panda is launched off his feet. Before he flips landing on his feet, springing back throwing a kick. Naoya hops over the kick with a cocky grin before boosting.
" You are quite energetic for a Panda. But I think you are better off living in an enclosure. "
As soon as Naoya says this he delivers two lightning-fast kicks, one into Panda's side, the other onto his head. Growing annoyed Panda throws a sloppy punch that Naoya easily parries. Naoya throws a quick jab that lands before throwing an overhand that rocks Panda's head back.
Naoya throws a barrage of punches and kicks into Panda's body while easily evading all of Panda's counters. The audience watches as Naoya toys with him noticing that Panda's movements are slowing down rapidly. Naoya ducks under a punch before extending his foot to the left making Panda trip, falling face first to the ground.
Panda sits up on his knees before turning towards Naoya before a heel is placed on his forehead. Panda stares up in shock, seeing Naoya's foot on the right side of his face. Naoya rests his right arm on his knee while staring down at Panda with a cocky look.
" Hey, I don't know if you noticed but let me give you some advice. Throw yourself off the stage. You're only going to embarrass yourself even more if you keep trying."
Said Naoya removing his foot from Panda's face. Naoya takes a few steps back and watches Panda stand back up with an annoyed look on his face. Panda rashly runs forward throwing a punch. Naoya scoffs before leaning to the side until suddenly his eyes widen.
He watches as Panda's body begins to morph. Giving him long canines and burly arms. In a panic, Naoya tries to dash back until abruptly his body is encased in glass. Naoya has been using his cursed technique to dodge Panda's blows. The sudden change to Panda's body shocked Naoya to the point he tried to move against his frames causing him to freeze.
A grin appears on Panda's face as he loads back his massive arm. His fur blows in the wind as he delivers a powerful punch into Naoya's chest. The glass shatters as Naoya spews out blood. His body bounces off the ground repeatedly before coming to a sliding stop with Naoya's right arm dangling over the edge. The punch knocked him unconscious.
" Am I still just a mere zoo animal, huh? "
Said Panda in a mocking voice as he walked towards the unconscious Naoya. He kept on walking until his ears twitched hearing hurried footsteps running towards him. Panda glanced to the left and saw Mute running towards him with Inumaki chasing after him.
Panda scoffs and throws a punch. Mute leaps over the punch before running up his burly arms and hopping off his head. Mute twirls in the air and stares at Panda and Inumaki looking up at him. Mute glares at them with his fists balled until Inumaki speaks, shocking him.
" Plummet. "
Mute listens to Inumaki say this new word in shock as the gravity surrounding his body triples. His body slammed back onto the ground causing a massive crack to form in the stone floor. Mute painfully stares at Inumaki glaring at him until a figure appears next to Inumaki slamming a punch into his face and releasing the gravity. Mute grins seeing Nayoa before rolling out the way of a kick from Panda.
Mute and Naoya both dashed back in unison gaining distance away from Panda and Inumaki. Naoya breathed painfully. He clearly was hurt by Panda's punch. Seeing Naoya's dire state the announcer watching saw an opportunity to talk.
" The tides have changed. The Zenin clan looked unbeatable only a short while ago. But instead they're on the ropes. Will they be able to bounce back and win? "...
