Bab 40: Chapter 40: Disaster
Inside a temple in Tokyo, a massive standing crowd could be sensed staring at a man wearing a monk's robe. He was standing in front of a microphone on a stage. The crowd looked at him in awe. Geto grabbed onto the mic in front of him before talking. Geto's voice is projected through loudspeakers.
" I know I have asked a lot of you mon-, humans. But I need more money for my upcoming plans. I have big plans for next year and I need lots of money to achieve them. "
The crowd looked at Geto confused. Over the years. The act of Geto being a savior has become more and more unbelievable. His hatred for humans has grown making, his killing intent impossible to hide. The main reason the majority of the crowd was there was because they feared for their lives. If they left Geto's cult, they knew he would kill them.
The crowd watched as Nanako and Mimiko walked toward them holding onto a wooden basket. The crowd reached into their pants and pulled out money putting it into the basket. As this was happening Geto was staring at the crowd with an annoyed look on his face. The amount of money being put into the basket wasn't the amount he wanted. He smacked his lips before he realized that his killing intent was leaking out.
A fake grin appeared on Geto's face as Mimiko and Nanako handed over the baskets to him. Geto looked into the baskets before setting them both on the ground next to him and talking.
" Thank you all for the donations but let's talk... "
Geto continued his fake speech to the crowd in a room next to the stage where several sorcerers sitting or standing next to a red couch. They were waiting for Geto to finish his speech. They were asked to meet him after the speech.
Twenty minutes pass as Geto finally wraps up his speech. The crowd exits the room through two massive doors. Geto watches the crowd with a grin before his face drops the act, and a serious face appears. Geto pivots to his right and walks towards the room.
The several sorcerers in the room sense Geto approaching and stare at the door as it opens and he walks into the room before talking.
"So, let's explain my plans for December 24th next year."...
Back to the mountain range. A massive amount of cursed energy has appeared. Human's natural fear of the cold has created a powerful spirit. The curse is easily a special grade. The sheer amount of cursed energy the spirit has. Makes any animal close to the mountain range run in fear. But at the summit of the mountain, a pure white figure could be seen. The figure is 5'3" and the spirit's body is frail and covered in white spikes. Two massive deer antlers protrude out of its head.
The eyes of the cursed spirit are slanted and are pure black. The tongue in its mouth is gray. It slowly looks around. Trying to find something. It quickly looks down at the ground and smirks as it extends its narrow fingers down.
A sword of pure ice forms into its palm as it starts to playfully hum to itself. But while humming to itself. The spirit felt a powerful set of eyes lock onto it. It looks over towards the sensation and sees a cloaked figure staring directly at him.
A grin appears on the cursed spirit's face as it talks in a deep horse voice.
" Finally, some new prey. "
The spirit extends his sword towards the cloaked figure as the sword separates into the ice sickles that float over his shoulders. The cursed spirit starts to slowly walk towards Mute as the blizzard becomes more harsh. Mute and the spirit lock eyes before the spirit's body flickers as it dashes toward Mute at lightning-fast speeds.
The cursed spirit appeared directly in front of Mute reforming his sword, and slashed his blade at Mute's chest. Mute tracked the blade approaching him before the blade suddenly crashed into a web of string, a shockwave rippled out from the two weapons clashing as a massive grin appeared on the cursed spirit's face...
The fight between the cursed spirit and Mute has begun...
