Gavriel, who was busy doing his household chores, immediately approached Hans when he saw him returning alone without Anindira.

''You're back?'' asked Gavriel while looking around, looking for something.

''Eum...'' answered Hans briefly. He glared at Gavriel.

''What are you looking for?'' asked Hans curtly.

Even though he already knew what Gavriel was looking for.

''Anindira?'' replied Gavriel innocently, responding to Hans.

''Aren't you his mate?'' Hans asked in a serious tone making Gavriel frown, ''Is the mate bond just made up by men who are already in a pair?!'' Hans shouted in response to Gavriel's question very curtly.

Touched by Gavriel's feelings about Hans' words, which were quite shocking, he didn't argue because what Hans said was true.

As Anindira's spouse, he should know where the woman is instead of asking because the bond between him and Anindira will not be broken unless one of them dies.
