Lou didn't care what the meaning of the birthmark behind Cedric's back, he couldn't care less about that as long as he could get Iris for himself. He was well aware with the fact there would be five protectors around Iris, but it didn't change anything. 

In his twisted mind, there was no need to have more protector. It wouldn't make any different.

"Let's kill him." Lou lit up fire on his fingers, was ready to struck the unconscious Cedric with it. "Getting rid of him will lessen our trouble too." They didn't need to deal with the complicated situation with the Holy Kingdom in the future. 

Therefore, it was a win win solution. 

"Sure, do it." Cane glanced at Lou, who looked slightly taken aback because he agreed readily and instead of doing it immediately, the merchant became suspicious. He put off the fire and faced the alpha. 

"What are you going to say if he died."
