Bab 519: A Pet

"Your Highness!" Ana's panicked cry echoed as she watched this sudden scary scene unfolding in front of her. 

In response to the threat, the knights swiftly drew their swords, advancing towards the wolf now looming over Oriana, ready to defend their crown princess at all costs.

The Wolf sniffed her scent and seemed to be calm down as its growls turned milder, its eyes fixed on her screaming face. 

Arlan, engrossed in conversation with his knights, was jolted by the sound of his wife's piercing screams. In a moment he appeared at the scene only to witness Oriana sprawled on the ground, her eyes tightly shut in terror, and her screams reverberating through the air. The imposing figure of the wolf stood above her small form, emitting subdued growls while calmly observing her.

Arlan raised his hand to signal his knights to hold their positions. He approached his trembling wife, his expression a mix of concern and amusement.
