Bab 35: I WILL WAIT

Everyone at the table turned to look at James at once. Ethan's hands that were picking out vegetables for Erika froze in the air. He looked at Erika who looked back at him and he replied,

"Yes, Uncle. I really love Erika and would love to marry her some day".

Erika choked on the piece she was biting into and Ethan quickly handed her a glass of water and patted her back gently.

"But I thought you were together with Jasmine?" James asked Ethan starring at him intently.

"I have nothing to do with Jasmine. My father was the one who set me up with her but I don't love her at all", Ethan replied respectfully.

Since he was serious about courting Erika, he was going to be extra respectful to James even though they were already close.

James stared at Ethan hardly. Even the three brothers felt like there was going to be an earthquake from the weight of his glare at him.
