Carter snapped back at Angus's accusation that he was untruthful about Dahlia's ancestry. He lunged at Alpha Angus and watched as the old wolf flinched and backed away from him.

Ire filled his voice as he informed Angus through the link, "I have not been dishonest with you about Dahlia or her being a human."

Alpha Angus adjusted his stance and glared murderously at Carter. He could see that Angus was prepared for a fight.

Dahlia was watching the wolves circle and advance on her and her mate. She could sense that this would not end well for her or Carter if she did not think of something quick.
