Bab 6: Chapter 6

[2007, New Jersey, US]

Just as the man was about to resume his story, the door to Wednesday's room swung open, revealing a woman adorned in a black nightgown.

The woman possessed breathtaking beauty, boasting captivating curves, long flowing black hair and luscious lips. Her remarkably fair complexion beautifully contrasted against the dark hue of her nightgown.

"Mother, why did you enter my room!" Wednesday snaps angrily at the woman.

The woman was Morticia Addams, Wednesday Addams's mother.

"My Raven, it's time for you to sleep" she spoke tenderly to Wednesday, before redirecting her focus to the Man.

"My love, tonight holds a surprise for you" Morticia said, before gently loosening the straps of her nightgown.

The man could see that inside, she was wearing a sexy black lingerie.

"Goodnight, my little reaper" The man kisses Wednesday's forehead and approaches Morticia, taking her outstretched hand.

"Mother, just you wait when I grow up, I will snatch Daddy from you!" Wednesday says indignantly, giving Morticia the dead eyes.

Morticia smirks at her daughter, before kissing the Man passionately in front of her. Wednesday looked at her mother hatefully while gritting her teeth.

The man enjoys the kiss knowing that it won't be long before Wednesday, his daughter starts asking for such kisses too. He knows that this is his own doing, a side effect of the ritual he performed ages ago.

[Unknown year, Greece]

Qetsiyah Banea walked towards the Salou house with a spring in her step, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.

Being part of the esteemed Banea family, one of the oldest witch families in the coven, it was expected for their first-born daughter to possess natural talent in magic. However, Qetsiyah's abilities surpassed even the previous generations of her family, making her an exceptional talent within the coven.

Yet despite her own impressive powers, Qetsiyah couldn't help but be captivated by a certain boy, Silvanus Salou.

The Salou family was equally ancient and Silvanus himself was even born with a mark over his heart, symbolizing a blessing from either the Gods or Magic itself.

Qetsiyah was not jealous of his status as the most powerful witch in their generation. On the contrary, she had fallen deeply in love with him from the moment she laid eyes on him, long before understanding the depths of such emotions. She took pride in the fact that Silvanus would be her future husband, and she his wife.

Smiling shyly, Qetsiyah reminisced about a party three years ago, where Silvanus stole her first kiss. He had given her the nickname Tessa, and in return she called him Silas. That night, they spent hours talking on the rooftop after their kiss.

He even shared his dreams and ambitions with her. Qetsiyah vividly remembered the passion in his eyes as he spoke about Immortality, his desire to explore the world, and his quest to unravel the secrets of Magic.

Qetsiyah kept it all in her heart and secretly began working on her own project. The Banea family possessed an ancient spell related to Immortality, although it was flawed and incomplete. But Qetsiyah was confident that given enough time, she could perfect it for her beloved Silas.

Whatever his dreams may be, she was determined to help him achieve them, even if it meant pursuing Immortality. Qetsiyah giggled happily at the thought of how delighted Silvanus would be when she eventually revealed her successful results to him.

However, her joyful expression faltered momentarily as she looked back. Behind her coming along with her were two servants. One was a bodyguard assigned by her Brother, as it wasn't considered appropriate for young women to venture outside alone. The other was Amara, she still remembered how that very night, Silas called upon Amara when they were on the roof.

"Amara come here" Silas called out to the servant girl who was standing at a corner on the roof.

Amara, being Qetsiyah's handmaiden, was always by her side, so she had witnessed their loving kiss and had even overheard some of their sweet talks. Although she felt a bit lost and conflicted, Amara knew deep down that Qetsiyah and Silas were meant to be together.

When Silas called out to her, Amara approached them hesitantly. Qetsiyah, in Silas's arms, was confused by his sudden request for Amara's presence. Silas unabashedly removed Amara's face cloth, revealing her features.

"Isn't she cute," Silas remarked, gently caressing Amara's cheeks, "What do you think Tessa?" Silas asked Qetsiyah, still holding her close.

"Umm, yes, she is," Qetsiyah nodded, her confusion evident.

"I like beautiful things, it makes me want to own them" Silas stated, tracing his thumb over Amara's lips.

Amara felt a mixture of shyness and fear, stealing glances at Qetsiyah, afraid of her reaction.

"You will treat her well from now on, won't you?" Silas asked looking down at Qetsiyah, "Can you do that for me?" he whispered, drawing closer to Qetsiyah's face.

"Yes," Qetsiyah absentmindedly replied, getting lost in Silas's deep green eyes.

"As expected of my Tessa," Silas smiled gently, "For this, you deserve a reward" Silas leaned in, initiating a passionate kiss with Qetsiyah.

Qetsiyah passively accepts Silas's passionate kiss, inside her mind she keeps hearing Silas's voice, 'my Tessa'. Adding to that, the deep kiss was just too much for her, she was feeling as if she was floating in the clouds.

Amara watched all of this from the sidelines, her face turning red from the passionate display.

The memory of that night was very precious for Qetsiyah, but she also felt confused when Silas showed affection for her handmaiden. After that night they have spent a lot of time together, but every time Silas would ask for Amara to be near them.

He hadn't done anything intimate with Amara, but Qetsiyah still felt a bit jealous. However, she knew that Silas cared for her and for her that was what truly mattered. That was also the reason why she never brought up the rumors of Silas sleeping with her servant Anna on the same bed.

Today Silas had asked both her and Amara to come to his house after taking a bath, he had repeatedly emphasized that it was important. So Qetsiyah was feeling nervous and a bit excited for what this important surprise was.

*****

Magic, the fundamental component of this universe, Silas was fascinated by it from the moment he had access to it. Here the Magic was broad and vast, it had spell casting, rituals, potion making, alchemy and various other things.

However, Silas quickly found that even though Magic seemed vast, it was also very cluttered, very disorganized and lacking in coherent structure. Silas was taught magic from a young age by different elders, but he wasn't taught the theory or the 'why's' of magic, he was only taught the 'how's' of magic, its practical aspect.

How to cast a spell, how to prepare a ritual, identifying different magical and non magical herbs, how to concoct different potions, how to create different artifacts and talismans.

Instead of a systematic way of teaching, it was all very random, and most of the time there were no details of how to easily cast a spell and everything was based on instinct. The underlying theories and principles behind the magic seemed missing.

Silas did understand though why it was that way, it was because the qualifications for the study of magic was based on talent. Due to his natural born talent, in a way magic bended to his will, it allowed him to navigate through its complexities with relative ease.

Even if he overlooked a step in a ritual or forgot an incantation, magic seemed to fill in the gaps and enable him to achieve the desired results.

According to the elders, those gifted with innate talent often received assistance from magic itself. This reliance on innate abilities had led to complacency among witches, resulting in a lack of dedicated research and exploration of magic's deeper mysteries.

The limitations and drawbacks of certain spells, rituals or potions were often conveyed through cautionary tales, veiled in cryptic language rather than a straightforward manner.

Silas was grateful that he was talented or else it would have been infinitely harder for him to learn magic under this kind of tutors.

Silas harbored a future plan to restructure the knowledge of Magic, partitioning it into distinct categories and establishing a clearer framework for its study. But it was just a future plan as currently, he wanted to focus more on his personal growth and development.

Today was an important day for Silas, he was waiting at the door of his mansion, anticipating the arrival of Tessa and Amara. Soon, he saw Tessa and Amara approaching, accompanied by a male servant.

Seeing Silas, Tessa ran up to him and embraced him tightly. Silas returned the hug, nodding at Amara who glanced at him shyly.

"Silas, my love, what is this important thing, would you tell me now?" Qetsiyah asked impatiently.

"Follow me," Silas said with a mysterious smile.

Silas led them inside the house, with Qetsiyah clinging to his arm. "You too, Amara" he said, looking back at Amara who was just standing there.

Amara nods and follows along, while the male servant went to the servant quarters, as it was not his first time escorting his madam to the Salou house.

Silas take both of them to his room.

"There are very few people here today, where is Garcia, Tilly, Anna or Isabella for that matter? Even Veronica, who shadows you constantly, isn't seen anywhere" Qetsiyah asked curiously, scanning the house.

"I have told everyone not to disturb us today," Silas replied, giving a meaningful smile to Qetsiyah.

"Oh" Qetsiayh eyes widened, her cheeks reddening in response. Amara walking behind them, also kept her head down in shyness.

Silas opens the door to his room and they all enter inside.

The room was dimly lit, despite the sunny day outside, with only the soft glow of candles illuminating the space, which were placed around the bed.

Qetsiyah noticed a ritual circle drawn with the bed at the center and candles were placed along its periphery. She also noticed a very high concentration of magic being drawn inside the circle.

"What kind of ritual is this? It is something which I have never seen before" Qetsiyah asks in intrigue, while approaching the drawn circle, trying to discern the different symbols and markings drawn inside.

"And is this blood? It seems to be human blood" Qetsiyah remarked, hovering her hand over the reddish hue of the drawn lines.

"Yes, it's mine," Silas confessed, stepping into the circle and moving closer to the bed. Both Qetsiyah and Amara looked at Silas with distress.

"But why? What kind of ritual requires so much of your own blood" Qetsiyah asked, her hand touching Sila's face, her eyes moist.

"Tessa, do you trust me?" Silas asked, cupping her face gently.

"Yes, of course, I trust you with my life, my love" Qetsiyah earnestly replied.

Silas smiled at her response, then beckoned Amara to come closer. Amara, who had been watching from outside the circle, joined them as Silas removed her face mask.

"And what about you, Amara? Do you trust me?" Silas asked, extending his hand towards her.

"Yes I do too," Amara replied, gripping Silas's hand tightly. Qetsiyah noticed their interaction but remained focused on Silas.

Sila's smile widened at her answer.

"This is an original ritual created by me. It is a ritual for creating an unbreakable bond" Silas explained patiently, stepping back from both of them. "The bond created will make it impossible to betray one another, connecting our souls. However, the strength of the bond depends on the existing connection between the two individuals. If the existing bond or emotion is strong enough, then it will become unbreakable."

"Is it a master-servant ritual?" Qetsiyah asks her eyes fixed on Silas, her tone curious but without reproach or anger.

"No, my dear, it's not a Master-Servant ritual" Silas replied calmly with a smile, "Though, to perform this ritual we will have to become one." Silas said while removing his upper garment.

Qetsiyah and Amara audibly gulped looking at Silas's bare upper body. He then proceeds to take off his lower garment and then takes off his loincloth.

Qetsiyah looked at the scenes with a shine in her eyes, even if her cheeks were considerably red. Amara had her face covered with her hands, though there was a gap between her fingers.

Silas approached Qetsiyah, embracing her waist, "So Tessa, will you perform this ritual with me?" Silas asked, looking deeply into her eyes.

"But we aren't married yet, Silas," Qetsiyah responded shyly, averting her gaze, while trying her best to ignore the thing poking her lower half.

"I will marry you in the future," Silas replied with ease, a smile gracing his lips.

Hearing those words, Qetsiyah felt an immense wave of happiness, she felt like there were butterflies fluttering in her stomach. However, she still looked at Amara, who was watching discreetly, "But what ab-"

Before she could finish her question, Silas silenced her with a passionate kiss, making her forget what she was going to ask.
