Bab 38: Chapter 38 The engagement
After the training was done.
Ichigo felt stronger again. But it wasn't enough to fight with Soifon.
He was far from it to be honest.
Ichigo looked at Soifon who came to watch him.
He couldn't help but smile and greet her.
He was his senior sister. It wouldn't hurt to be closer to her.
"Big sis you come. Did Yoruichi-san want me to help her with the paperwork?"
Ichigo asked.
He didn't think that she would come to see him without a reason.
She is a vice captain. She must be very busy.

Ichigo felt tired but he could still go on without a problem.
Even though training with Soifon could be suicidal but if it benefit him that much.
He was willing to do it again and again.

*Megane: Glasses = Uryu.
It somehow offended Ryuken too but he let it be.
He would never allow himself to have a problem with her just because of this petty reason.
Uryu looked at his father in confusion. He didn't know who the Megane was.
"Go with her. You will understand. I will go to my office first. What about you Isshin?"
Uryu now knew who Megane the woman referred to. He didn't like it but he could only stay silent and follow her and Ichigo.
If his father didn't say anything. He couldn't say it either.
Isshin wanted to go with Soifon but he shook his head.
"I'm going home. I can't be of any help anyway.."
Masaki had been training her devil magic very hard.
Venelana was very generous to give all the elite and ultimate class level magic to her.
Masaki unfortunately didn't inherit the power of destruction but the same goes for Venelana as well.
Venelana was feared by all with her creativity in utilizing her vast number of magic.
His wife could be like her too if she trained the same way that Venelana did.

She just wanted to be a normal devil girl who lived happily and peacefully.
But yesterday everything was crushing down on her when her father announced the engagement between her and Riser Phenex.
They wanted a strong offspring from the pure blood of the two duke families.
She hated her father very much but she couldn't do anything as she was too weak.
The Devils didn't care much about their family. Only power was important to them.
Her mother wanted to stop it but it was all in vain.
But she knew that her mother had a plan to help her. And it might involve her little cousin.
She thought about the boy who gave her the spiritual fruit. He was not like any other boys that she met in her devil life.
He was polite and didn't act arrogant toward her at all.
He looked at her as Rias, his cousin and not some kind of trophy.
She met Riser Phenex before the engagement and she could tell that he would become someone she hated the most in the future.
And as she was feeling depressed. She heard the voice of her mother.
"Rias comes to mom's room. Mom has something to tell you."
Her mother's voice rang inside her head.
Her mood became better when she knew that her mother was on her side.
