Bab 17: A vs Sato
A was tapping his desk with his fingers, he simply needed to see Yugito's brother with his own eyes.
Her words had successfully made him interested in Sato.
"Mabui bring Sato over to my office."
"I want to see him."
Raikage ordered his assistant, who quickly vanished from his office.
Then looking back at Yugito, Raikage spoke seriously.
"Tell me how well he can use chakra enhanced strength again."
"His strengths and his weaknesses."
"Everything."
Yugito frankly didn't know why Raikage was comparing her brother with Tsunade of all people, but she truthfully told his capabilities once more.
This time in more detail.
"Sato can use chakra enhanced strength as long as he isn't moving too much."
"If it's a basic taijustu battle he can land his attacks just fine."
She said without hiding anything, but this made A happily bang the table.
"That's normal Yugito!"
"You haven't faced that woman in the battlefield so you don't know."
"But her weakness is her speed, why do you think that is the case?"
"A ninja of her level can easily use body flicker, yet she prefers to run to her target instead."
Knocking on his table A told them the secret of Tsunade's fighting style.
"It's because she can't use chakra enhanced strength when moving too quickly."
"Movement disturbs the chakra flow, you can either move fast or use chakra enhanced strength."
A made Tsunade's secret clear to everyone, he had extensively researched her style in the previous wars.
Tsunade's strength was no joke, she was stronger than him in thunder armour state, that alone shows how great her technique was.
*Knock*
*Knock*
"I brought Sato, Raikage sama."
Mabui's knocked on the office door, she had left a minute ago and was back incredibly quickly.
No doubt bringing Sato along using body flicker.
'Why is the Raikage calling me out of nowhere?'
'Can't a man train in peace nowadays.'
Sato grumbled, when Mabui appeared before him he was pretty shocked.
He figured something happened to Yugito, but it turns out he was the one getting a call from the fourth Raikage.
So he was the one who messed up?
"Come in."
Sato steadied himself and walked in with Mabui.
He found Yugito standing in the office as well and looking at him with encouragement.
'So she is the one who said something about me.'
'Dammit sister, at least tell me before you do something like this.'
Still, he was in the presence of the Raikage, so he didn't acknowledge Yugito beyond a general nod.
"Sato, I heard you figured out chakra enhanced strength."
"Show me."
Raikage A didn't waste a single second and demanded to see the technique.
This made Sato realise why he was called here.
'It's probably the extremely high chakra control I have.'
'Does he take me for a genius because of it?'
Sato thought in amusement, he was no genius, he was just an average fellow.
The only thing that wasn't average with him was his mind, and coincidentally that is something chakra control heavily depended upon.
Sato became very good at it very quickly, this was his only talent after all, a stable mind.
And so he remained true to the promise he made to himself before.
He capitalised the hell out of his only talent, and figured out a technique relying solely on his chakra control.
'Taijutsu and Bukijutsu are my fighting styles after all, strong strength is a requirement for both.'
Sato knew if someone like Sakura could do it under Tsunade's training, there is no reason he couldn't, he just had to figure it out on his own.
Sakura's entire thing was that her chakra reserves were trash, allowing her to control what she had better, while he had average reserves in comparison he also had something she didn't, a working brain.
He was much more similar to Tsunade in that regard, they were both innovators instead of rigid learners.
"Where do I attack, Raikage Sama?"
Sato asked fluently, he didn't question the fact that they were about to unleash destructive justu in the office.
That was something Raikage needed to worry about, it's not his mission reward that's going to fix everything.
"Attack me directly."
Raikage said while standing up from his seat.
He started walking upto Sato while removing his kage cloak.
His strong muscles were now in full view.
Yugito had to forcibly make herself stand in place, she badly wanted to interfere but this wasn't her place to speak.
"Punch me, right here."
Bending down to Sato's level, Raikage pushed his palm forward-
*BZZZT!*
And turned on his thunder armour.
'Thunder armour..??'
'What the hell, you are not fighting Tsunade dude!'
Sato frantically complained while remaining calm on the outside.
He knew he couldn't escape this so he took his newly learnt stance, and got ready to punch.
"Haah!"
With narrowed eyes Sato put 100% of his usable chakra in this one punch.
Chakra enhanced strength depended on how much of one's chakra was behind the attack.
He had normal civilian kid reserves, just a bit better than them because of a week long training.
So if he wanted to cause substantial damage, he had to go all out.
*BANG!*
The punch connected and Raikage's office shook.
A wind blast scattered around the closed room, making the impact seem much more concentrated
But Raikage's palm didn't even shake, Sato felt he was hitting way beyond his weight class.
Still, that was purely Sato's thoughts, everyone else was amazed at how much strength a body this small packed.
"Yo!"
"Let me tell you 'bout that punch, it was insane!"
"Had the power to make the ground shake, no game."
"Ain't seen nothing like it in this whole terrain, That punch was so amazing, it's hard to explain!"
"Yeah!"
Killer B pushed his sunglasses up, and with a large grin started to dance rap around Sato.
Which made A's veins pop, now whatever he was going to say will sound pale in comparison!
Dammit B.
"Shut it B!"
"Sato Nii, that was an amazing display of strength."
"Stand proud, you are the genius of our village, I expect great things from you."
But A was a Kage after all, he managed to make up a great speech on the spot.
Then decided to personally tell Sato about his S class mission.
"Sato, I have a mission for you, it's an S class mission of great importance to the village."
"Although it's your first mission, I have trust you can do it."
Sato processed all this in a daze, then blinked and pointed towards himself with confusion.
He, a civilian child with a week of training is going for an S class mission?
Has the Raikage been replaced by the Third Hokage? Does A want to get rid of him so badly?!
