In a cozy lounge, two middle-aged men were sipping tea and chatting leisurely.

"I haven't seen you in a while, Guildmaster Maud. How have you been?" asked a stern man adorned in a military uniform and an epaulet with a gold star.

"We're old friends, just call me Gavin." Guildmaster Maud murmured, before downing the tea in his cup.

As a friend, Michelle Roger was unquestionably amiable and dependable in battle, his only shortcoming being his pettiness.

They all agreed to compete fairly back then, but after he won the beauty, he surprisingly enlisted in the military.

Despite many passing years, it seemed that Michelle Roger hadn't gotten over it yet.

"Have you spotted any promising talents this year?" Wanting to change from the old topic, Gavin Maud steered the conversation anew.
