Bab 60: Chapter 60: Speech 2
In the huge auditorium, the student council was standing in front of most of the students of Xyrus Academy, the vice president Elizabeth giving a speech to present our group.
"Before the club rush commences, the student council would like to formally introduce to you, the students of this academy, a group that was personally picked by the director in hopes to resolve and prevent disputes amongst students as well as enforce penalizing measures for troublemakers.
While the student council's main job is to help the director make sure this academy and the events held run smoothly, this group's job allows them to use magic appropriately to uphold the peace and safety of students, whether against other students or trespassers. Please join me in welcoming the disciplinary committee!" Elizabeth's voice rang at her last words.
With this introduction we walked on to face all the students anticipating. Once all the nine of us stood in the middle of the stage, the silence turned into a bomb of whispers between the students.
"So these are the DC huh?"
"I heard that they are very strong inidividuals that the director personallu picked, interesting."
"They look cool!"
The nine of us had confident expressions since we need to make a strong first impression to everyone present here, stepping forwards to the microphone with steady steps, I started talking.
"Esteemed students of Xyrus Academy, I stand before you as the president of the Disciplinary Committee, Meliodas and more known as the Dragon sin of Wrath." I decided to let know who I really im since this will lake the student respect us more.
"What is he talking about? This kid is the dragon sin of wrath?"
"But it may be true, look at that tattoo on his left biceps."
"Guys it's definitly him! I know how the dragon sin of wrath looks exactly from all the storie I heard!"
"Yeah me too, messy blonde hair, a dragon tattoo of the left bicep and finally that snake around his body!"
"Oh my god, the dragon sin of wrath is in my school!"
"Please can I have a picture with you!?"
"Huh? What is a picture?"
"I dont know I just created this word."
Seeing the reaction from the students and the fuss they made, the president of the student council Tessia stepped in. "Your attention please! He still did not finish!"
Tess and Liz are girls who marked every student so far, so when she said that everyone calmed down. "Thank you Tess." I gave her a smile, which she responded to by nodding her head smiling back at me then I continued.
"Today, I introduce to you the guardians of order within these enchanted walls, my fellow mages and comrades in the pursuit of a harmonious magical education, the nine members of the DC here behind me."
Cheer erupred to welcome the nine other, to which some responded by waving their hands, once the claps and cheering stopped I continied on my speech.
"As Disciplinary Committee members, we are not merely enforcers of rules, we are facilitators of growth, protectors of your magical journey. Our duty is to ensure that every incantation, every experiment, and every mystical pursuit occurs in an environment of order and respect.
This academic year is a canvas waiting for the strokes of your magical potential, and we are here to ensure those strokes blend seamlessly into a masterpiece of learning and discovery.
Together, let us embark on a journey of knowledge, camaraderie, and shared magical experiences. May this academic chapter be one where your abilities flourish, your horizons expand, and the echoes of your achievements reverberate through the very stones of Xyrus Academy.
"Whoooooo hooooo! Yeeaaahh lets gooo!" The first one to start shouting like a crazy was Ash, and his excitement was followed by every other student here as everyone stood up began clapping and shouting.
"Well, our job here is done guys, for now everyone goes to his territory like we discusted earlier." I ordered the DC memebers.
"Roger that!" Claire enthusiastically replied with a military salute as she went alongside Theodore.
"Alright! Let's go Baren were on the same team for today." Doradrea punched his arm and started walking to her spot.
"Tch, dont touch me." Baren replied as he followed behind her.
"Now you get to order me, but in tomorow's fight I will prove to the director that im stronger than you, and that I deserve to be the president!" Feyrith declared, lifting his head up in arrogance.
"Yeah, yeah whatever just keep going." Kai pushed him.
As for the Curtis and Kathyln they just left without saying a single word. Turning towards the student coucil members, I said. "Lilia, im happy that you could awaken you mana core before the school start."
"It is all thanks to you ans Arthur, I will never forget what you did for me." Lilia slightly bowed her head.
"Hum? Do you know Meliodas, Lilia?" Tess asked.
"Y-yeah w-well..." She got a little bit embarrased to tell what was our relation so I kikced in.
"Actuaty my father works for her dad, and we live in the same house." I explained.
"So we all know each other, great!" Elizabeth smiled widely.
"I know you have a lot to do student council so I will let you get to your duties..." Turning towards Elizabeth I continued. "Oh, and I will wait for you Liz at the training ground the director made, good luck everyone!" I walked with my hands behind my back, the male memeber Clive glaring daggers at me.
