"How about you go join the guys while I quickly freshen up?" Ruby asked Stefan after a while, but he shook his head.

"And leave you so you can go back to locking yourself up? Nah, I will pass. I'd rather wait in here," he said, and Ruby smiled.

"Why? You think I will go back to locking myself up?" she asked and Stefan nodded.

"Yes. I don't trust you," he said simply.

"C'mon, Steffy."

"I'm not letting you out of my sight for a moment again. Not after I stayed in that storage room with you and drove you home, get you shut me out with everyone else. I say outside your bedroom for days, begging and pleading with you to open the door yet you refused me. As much as I want to leave the room and trust you, I can't," he said and Ruby held his hand.
