Lina followed Kai's gaze and saw that Coach Guanyu's gaze had already strayed from their side and was already directing his team. She sighed and turned to Kai once again.

"He's not," she said, causing Kai to frown.

"He was, though," Kai muttered. "He was even looking at us very sharply."

Lina sighed and focused her full attention on the stage.

"Well, maybe you saw wrong. Here's my advice for you—don't talk too much about Guanyu Chen."

Kai frowned in confusion. "Why not?" he asked.

Lina clicked her tongue, not even bothering to look at Kai.

"You're asking way too many questions," she remarked.

Kai raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Did...something happen?" he suddenly asked.

Lina shook her head. "Of course not. What would have happened?"

"I don't know," Kai shrugged. "You tell me. You're suddenly...irritated?"

Lina scoffed as she turned to him with a smile of disbelief.
