Bab 3: Chapter 3: The Hub Part 2
Kel showed immediate concern when he heard a strong, feminine voice, and so he quickly scanned around to find the source.
"Over here, mortal," the voice directed, prompting Kel to look toward a set of towering rocks where a miniature waterfall was falling, its water flowing into the pool.
As Kel looked there, he couldn't immediately see anyone, but in the next moment, he made out the figure of a woman. Before he could begin to imagine what this person looked like, the figure stepped out, and it was far from anything he had expected.
The woman, or creature in this case, greatly resembled a succubus or demon. It had light red skin and an incredibly fit and well-structured form, neither too petite nor too voluptuous. Its hair was long and black, eyes a blazing yellow, and it wore a fine set of black robes that left very little to the imagination. Atop its head were two sets of horns with strange patterning on the tips, and its long tail moved like an independent snake.
Before Kel could comment on the creature's appearance, it looked down at him from atop the rocks and showed a devious smirk. "Oh, yet another failed hero has stumbled upon my domain. I wonder, where should I take you? The pegging armies, the futanari pits, the sodomy palace, or perhaps the gay breeding farms."
Hearing the options mentioned, Kel's heart sank, but given how things had proceeded thus far, he felt helpless to do anything about it.
"It's the futanari's doing the penetrating in the pits isn't it?" he asked, trying to grasp to what little hope was there.
"Indeed," the creature agreed, its smile growing wider as it proceeded to ask, "Tell me, failed, would-be hero, how did you fail the being that sent you here?"
Kel was a bit confused and immediately corrected, "Well, I wouldn't say I failed, since I never got the job in the first place. I may have called being a righteous hero a 'cuck profession,' so the uh.. being sent me away. I guess you could say I didn't make it past the interview."
Hearing this answer, the being in front of Kel burst into laughter. "Oh, brilliant! That is truly your fate. In that case, it would be a waste to send you somewhere like the pegging armies." Hearing that name again, Kel couldn't help but clench his cheeks, not at all liking what the name entailed.
Ignoring his nervous appearance, the strange creature vanished from atop the waterfall and reappeared next to Kel, beginning to examine him like a child given a new toy. "I suppose you would do for my first apostle," the creature nodded, circling him like prey. "Yes, you see, beings like us have a treaty among ourselves. Rarely do we ever act in the lower plains, so instead, we have our apostles do so in our place, carrying out deeds in our name."
Kel seemed to understand. "Oh, I see, like spreading your name and gaining you followers?" he asked, but this only caused the creature to burst into laughter again.
"Silly mortal, no, of course not. It is for entertainment. Being so powerful can get incredibly dull, and though I could be considered a genie for being of my nature, I too see the need for an apostle now to entertain me. Do you think you can do this, mortal? I promise the rewards with which you will be provided will be ever so wonderful," the creature spoke, tracing its tail on Kel's cheek.
Unlike before, he couldn't feel his thoughts being forced out, so he immediately agreed, "I'm definitely the man for the job."
The creature smiled at his response and leaned in closer to Kel's face, mere inches away, and asked, "What are your strengths?"
"I fall in love easily," Kel blurted, prompting the creature to smirk.
"And your weaknesses?"
"Those yellow eyes of yours."
"…" The strange succbi creature narrowed its eyes after he spoke, causing an awkward silence for a few seconds… before it leaned back and burst in laughter.
*Hahaha* "My, my, you do seem entertaining. My eyes, he says." The creature added as it shook her head before settling her gaze back on Kel.
"Tell me mortal. And what would you expect in exchange for becoming my apostle?" It asked rather curiously.
"Not dying or getting raped would be nice." Kel quickly answered, not even daring to push his luck. Dream or not, he wasn't too keen on seeing what the sodomy palace or pegging armies entailed.
"Only that? You mortals are usually so greedy." The creature showed a bit of confusion and raised a brow toward Kel as if doubting his intentions.
"I like to think I'm a humble and reserved person." Kel quickly added, prompting the creature to lean back close to him as its eyes began to glow brighter.
"Then I shall peak into thy life." It ominously revealed before giggling rather sadiscally.
'Oh, this is no beuno.' Kel immediately thought to himself.
Before even 3 seconds could pass, the creature spoke.
"Humble and kind you say? Yet I see you've spent much of your life showing hate instead of kindness to others, hmm?" It questioned as a mischievous smirk appeared on its face, highlighting its toothed teeth.
"Well, it can't be called a hate crime if I enjoyed doing it…" Kel nervously replied back.
The creature went on.
"You once slept soundly after cyber bullying children for 38 hours."
"Everyone does that, mine are rookie numbers. Which automatically puts me among the kindest people you'll see on the internet..."
"How about the time you began praying for your friend's uncle to molest him."
"He left the interrogation room with 2 Big Macs, fries and a large sprite. He's the real villain."
"Hm. I suppose that is a bit true." The creature wondered aloud before immediately snapping her fingers. "Alright, you have convinced me. *snap*"
The moment she snapped her fingers, the entire space around Kel distorted and he now found himself standing in a rather large and empty palace.
