This story is as silly as Looney Tunes, but without the charisma of Daffy Duck or Bugs Bunny. Author, you really should've set this an alternate Earth or something because the way you write the characters and "Los Angeles" makes it painfully obvious that you aren't from the US... Like, it's so obvious and just plain ridiculous that it's immersion breaking... Or at least I hope you aren't from America because if you are then you really need to go outside and touch some grass instead of observing the world through the news and Reddit.

So much nonsense How can someone threaten a rich man who has half a billion dollars The hero can simply hire a bodyguard How can a worthless person kidnap his girlfriend I felt myself that the hero is not safe enough and the hero did not feel anything?And the hero remained like this with a bank account worths half a billion dollars without even a single bodyguard for him or his friends.
So it’s mostly the little things that make this subpar to terrible. California is a state not a city, and it’s really big with lots of differences across it. If you mean the L.A./Hollywood area as a caricature fine, BUT it does not rain there. The whole point of the area is it has no weather. Cops in the U. S. can get away with lots of stuff, but making a person transfer money out of electronic banking, nope. The setting makes the story less believable not more. It’s like saying all Midwest farming is rice paddies. Unless it’s addressed why culture mashing is happening, it’s just makes the story ungrounded.
reviewing after 31 chaps.I really loved this. I'm ok with netori and all but the landlord is good to the mc. so i hope he won't duck the landlady. or you can just make the landlord bad hehehe🤭🤭

another big disappointment of a story, idk why they all start good and captivating with good characters and story line, then it gets a Lil famous and the author will just start shiting whatever came to their mind without thinking and ruining the story, like Wtf, I'm so disappointed in this, it's frustrating to see how the Mc's IQ will drop by 100 halfway through, and you can see it happening it's like the author stops caring what readers are saying and just write whatever, it always happens when the slice of life end and the "Action" gets interduce, you can feel it and I was stupid enough to push through it hoping it'll come back to normal but it just we downhill from their on, anyways, not RECOMMENDED.
It was good enough in the early chapters but when you got into the locked ones the quality dropped drastically. Spelling and grammatical mistakes, characters acting totally unlike themselves to suit the plot, and major gaping plot holes. It seems like author needs a proofreader of some kind. Thats objective flaws with the quality of the writing. The more personal issues I have is that the story went in a very very odd direction in terms of plot. Almost changed genres and not in a good way, and by the end theres no major character growth he just says “alls well that ends well”. And another thing, I know we write what we know and the author is free to express themselves and who they are in their writing, but Im not a fan of shoving current events and social crap into the books, I want to come her and forget the flaws in our world not have them shoved in my face in heavy handed self congratulatory remarks. I thought it had potential, I was thoroughly disappointed.

chapter 260. Wasted my time money and energy. 1 update a week for no story progression. not even interesting, after the stabbing even the author doesn't know where the story is going. Mafia? The money system that hasn't been mentioned in 100 Chapters? Cleopatra more like bor-opatra. The police women who pops up every 20 chapters to do nothing? The neighbor whose marriage is a sham but he keeps the husband around for no reason. now some child that he kidnapped and not even the cops bat an eye at? Dropped and it was a long time coming.
I like the flow of this book I’ve unlocked every chapter and want lots more. Still I want more smut in the book please :)

bro what are you doing? these last 75 or so chapters have been a nightmare. This whole ella/jane/cal thing going on is dragging on too long, you've teased a meeting for over 100 chapters. I loved this story when it started but it's becoming a chore now to read.
I am utterly appalled by the recent developments in this novel. After reading up to chapter 81, I couldn't even finish chapter 82 before giving up in sheer disgust. The introduction of NTR and the MC's despicable actions in destroying a happily married couple with a young child is absolutely repulsive. I had initially hoped the author would refrain from turning the MC into a homewrecker, but instead, they chose to have him meticulously manipulate and seduce the married woman into an affair. To make matters worse, the story expects readers to root for this detestable character. This is a clear indication of the author's complete lack of a moral compass. If you're going to include such reprehensible content, at least have the decency to put an NTR tag on your book! I am thoroughly disgusted and have decided to drop this novel immediately. The MC is truly despicable, and such a character deserves nothing less than a fitting demise in any other story.
