Tentacles wrapped around the necks of anyone who saw it.
Screams filled the streets.
People ran in terror.
"No... None of these are suitable!!"
It killed. It absorbed.
It was looking for something.
Something that matched it.
The police pointed their weapons at the monster.
And then... death.
Only death.
Nothing could even touch its body.
It was like a walking shadow of immortality.
And me?
I was just a floating soul. Helpless.
The military arrived.
