novels first 40 chapters are good but then it turns into some generic action novel. fight weak one stronger comes, level up, fight stronger one entitled one comes, level up, fight entitled one comes the older one, level up..... you know the rest at the end become godlike being, the happy ending etc
It's surprisingly GOOD! I really like the story. Translation is pretty good, with the usual shebang (misgender, name changing, etc.). MC is pretty down to earth and not arrogant. He knows his strengths and shortcomings. He doesn't take things for granted. His little sister, Little Yan, is adorable and so well-behaved. I love their interaction. It warms my heart so much 😭😭 Definitely continuing reading. Regardless of my review and biased opinion, check the story out!
It's not bad, but it's way too slow of a read for me. Any single activity the mc does will take an entire chapter, examples: fishing, cooking and even talking to someone can be an entire chapter. Give it a try but you will have to be patient.
chronic content repetition, this is a reason to drop this novel from my library.

i really like the story and the characters in the books. However, 1 thing that has been bothering me is that the content in the last couple dozen of chapters has been repeated at every chapter end, is missing content or that naming of certain things is not consistent either. The translation before was all good but now? Now it has become bad. With this, I'll be dropping the book if it is not fixed next week.
this is probably one of the few 100% 5 star ratings for a novel I've read on webnovel, love the characters, especially the doctor, the mystery of the world this story takes place in is very interesting with the rise and decline of spiritual qi, very well executed. I had taken a spontaneous break from this novel to read a similarly entertaining novel, so I thought it would be hard to muster the will power to come back and read it while not finishing that other book, but this book is so gravitating to me that it was Easy as beans to be engrossed in this book

Good story! Honestly i’ve read many stories like this and this one does everything right while ignoring all the frustrating tropes.
It started great, there was occasionally repeated content, that would "cover" actual content, now it's every chapter several paragraphs are missing and replaced with repeated content
Although I like the story, after around chapter 715 (470) there is just too much repeating and missing content to continue reading here.
Started good but then MC acting like being protected by OP plot armor doesn't give a sht to those stronger than him which can actually end him with a flick of a finger if the author actually cares but no. MC is OP, his demeanor is over the top, nobles bow to him and all that bs
This story started out great and I would review it much higher, except for the past several chapters it has been nothing but repeated paragraphs from earlier in the chapters. the bad chapters have nearly half of their content as repeats. It sucks that we're paying for this. Fix those chapters and restore the content to a normal flow without repeats and I'll gladly redo my review. at this point I'm seriously considering dropping this book which is a shame.
This book surprised me in the fact that it has held my attention longterm and is one of my daily reads. I love the characters and the story development. Definitely worth the read.
it's a really good character, and the main character is op, but not in an absurd broken way, he still has to put forth effort and train, but he recognizes how lucky he is, he doesn't look down on others for not having his abilities, he is also just a very good person, kind, generous, friendly, and not overly aggressive or brutal, or too timid, perfectly balanced imo, the story, world and characters are all fantastic imo
I really like this book. I like the world building and how the characters interact. The character also have the oppertunity to grow. Scenery descriptions are good. I like the village and background. The mc is not overpowered, he is just powerful which I find nice. I like the updating speed. I would totally recommend this book to others. It’s unique and not cliche.

After reading till chapter 202, i gave up. There is nothing new or interesting. Its extremely boring. i don't mind the OPpeness or the mc being extremely murder happy. But its just boring and uninteresting.
This is a well written novel and actually a different start in the village. The villagers have depth and are kind instead of all trying to scheme. A good novel.
