The person who opened the door was my assistant, Kevin.

Yes, once I was seriously ill and worried about collapsing at home, unnoticed, so I gave Kevin a spare key just to be prepared for emergencies.

I never imagined this key would actually come in handy one day.

Seeing me sitting intact on the floor, Kevin breathed a sudden sigh of relief.

She quickly came to my side, "Miss Nina, do you know? You almost scared us to death. Ms. Ward was really afraid something happened to you. She knew I lived not far from your place, so she specially asked me to come and check on you."

Seeing my pale face, Kevin immediately asked with concern, "Miss Nina, are you feeling unwell? Do you need me to take you to the hospital?"

Kevin was the second person today to say this to me; the first was Ms. Ward.
